I realized after I ordered this that, per the product photos, the zippers on both the small and large compartments are on the "wrong" side of the bag--that is, if you sling it under your arm to access the bag's contents, both compartments would open from the bottom--a poor design for my purposes.BUT I'm glad I ordered it, because on the bag that I received today (black, which is actually charcoal--their photo is true to life), the zippers are actually on the CORRECT side (opposite of what the product images show--see my attached photo). I don't know if they realized the design flaw or if they just randomly switch the zipper directions, but I'm happy with what I got.Although I haven't had a chance to test it out yet (I foresee it getting a lot of use in the future; I'm using it instead of a purse), it seems durable and well-made. It's a tiny bit pricier than some similar sling bags here on Amazon (I've ordered the cheaper ones too), and this one has heavier-duty nylon (or something) lining on the interior pockets; it has more compartments, and an overall sturdier feel. It has a padded shoulder strap, where the cheaper ones don't. Very comfortable to wear; stays out of your way until you need it. Overall, recommended either for men or women who don't like a standard feminine purse.

I had a hard time picturing this when shopping online, so I thought I'd do something unusual for me and post a bunch of photos. The most important thing to know is that a laptop will not fit in this, which is the whole point; it's for times when you don't want to carry a full-sized backpack around. That said, I was able to fit in a paperback book, a mid-sized Moleskine notebook, an Amazon Fire, a Kindle, a portable keyboard, a travel stand for my phone, a portable charger with power cord and wall plug, a spare phone battery, my headphones, earplugs, my keys, a pair of sunglasses, and a 16-ounce water bottle without even the tiniest bit of trouble whatsoever, and even had a hook left over for my bicycle helmet. The main reason I wanted this was so I could stick it in my luggage when traveling and not have it count as yet another carry-on; with the strap minimized, it neatly folds in half and takes up less space than a paperback book. One of the best little things I've bought at Amazon in a long time, ingeniously designed.

This is a very nice looking bag and will do exactly what I had hoped for. I think I am going to spray it down with never wet to make it water proof. The openings are large enough for a water bottle and phone and my kindle and wallet. I was hoping to be able to carry baby items in it. And I can easily fit diapers, wipes, small water bottle, and snacks in there. And still have room for my phone and wallet in outer pockets. I do wish the shoulder strap was a more padded.

Best purchase I've made in a long time. I now own 3, and use them constantly. It was my bag for 3 weeks of travel in SE Asia. I wish they would make one just a LITTLE bigger. The next step up is too big. But sometimes I would like to carry more when traveling. You can keep this in front of you... safer than backpack. You can access pockets easily. It's comfortable and stylish. People constantly ask me where I got it. Well designed pockets for convenience and easy organization. I so wanted a leather version for less casual occasions, but found none that had the attributes of this bag. All have been disappointing.

Used this bag for a trip to Rome. It was perfect to carry around the town and comfortable as well. It was small enough for me to take into every museum I visited (Colosseum, Vatican, Pompeii) with no issues. This bag is probably as big as a small purse, but I was able to fit ALOT of things in it. I had a small umbrella, eye glasses case, portable power bank, wifi hotspot, small money bag, a couple charging cables, and there was plenty of room left for smaller things. I carried it on my back most of the time, but you can very easily slide it to the front or wear it on the front when needed.

Bag is a bit smaller than I expected, but overall pretty satisfied. Materials feel pretty good and sturdy for the price. Looks good too!Main pouch is pretty roomy. I was able to fit a some notebooks and external hard drives/battery packs or a lightweight change of clothes. You CAN fit an iPad Air or device with similar dimensions, but it is a tight fit. If you have a bigger, rugged case on it, it may not fit. The smaller pouch on the strap is pretty tiny. I used it to store my phone charger or headphones.

Quality is really nice for what you pay. Only thing I wished was that it was a little bigger, I already knew purchasing it that it was going to be small, but that's the only downside to this bag. You can carry small things like ipad mini's, passports, wallets, candy bars... but not water bottles and larger items. Plus, the strap doesn't hurt my shoulders while carrying so definitely a plus.

My husband had been looking for a "man bag" that he didn't have to carry in his hand like the one he has been using for many years. I ordered this for him and he absolutely loves it. It is roomy enough to hold gadgets and other items that may be too bulky for his pockets. The bag can be worn across the body, in front or back, or on the shoulder. The construction is sturdy and strong. He is now thinking of getting another color. I even tried it and have been looking for one with these same features but a softer color.
