Decided to replace the flares in my car for these. I don't even want to put them in the car as they are my new favorite things & I'm fascinated with them! They come in a cute little bag & have different light options for any car/home emergency. I love the headband light also (note, just don't look at it when you turn it on to test it - I was seeing spots), it's really bright & handy to have hands free. It also just fits in the carrying bag with the discs so it's all together. I highly recommend this to keep in your emergency kit for home or car. I'll probably keep spare batteries & a little screwdriver for them in the car also.

Great product. I haven't had a need for them on the road and just received them recently so I can't speak about long term life of the product. A couple of the batteries were dead when received. I'm just now posting a review because I don't think I did yet. I like the product so much I want to be sure I share with a good review. (I came across this order when I was checking on another order. I would like to give this a 5 star rating but sending dead batteries just doesn't seem like I should. They seem sturdy (doesn't seem they would break if dropped.) Love the case it came with to keep them together and safe from being banged around. The head lamp is bright enough so I can see where I'm stepping at night when I walk my furkids. I use a very bright flashlight to see around me in the distance. (it's not bright enough for that.) The headlamp exceeds my expectations. I also use to when cleaning my dogs ears. It's amazing too.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great product. We looked at a couple other options in safety flares, and you definitely get the most bang for your buck with this kit. There are 3 LED flares, a compact carrying case for the flares, an LED headlamp, and batteries INCLUDED for all items -- all under $20. You have to install the batteries yourself (which is NBD -- done simply with a screw driver, see pic). This kit is so useful to have and gives us peace of mind knowing we have it. There are so many situations where these would be useful, not just for safety purposes (although that is the most important). Excited to have the flares for the upcoming summer, as a safety precaution for our summer road trips, and we'll definitely use them when we go camping. We tested them out and they are very bright (see pics and video for different flare settings) -- so much better and safer than old road flares. Going to buy another set so we can have one in each car!(Side Note: they are also great as strobe lights for our toddler's frequent dance parties, it's hilarious how much she loves them! Considering buying a set just for her, haha.)

Not as bright as advertised little disappointed in the amount of light they put out. Standard road flares are much brighter.

UPDATE: I have changed my rating from 3 stars to 5. I originally wrote that I would like to give this product 5 stars, but gave it 3 because 1 of the 6 lights in the two 3-packs with the included headlamps didn’t work. The batteries were fine, but every time I attached the back and screwed it down, the light would not work any longer. After having posted my original 3 star review, I received a package today from Portside Products, with another 3-pack set plus headlamp. They came unsolicited and included a nice note of apology, and all of the new ones work. At this price point, I am not surprised that sometimes a product won’t work as advertised; but I am quite surprised when a vendor responds as quickly as Portside Products did to remedy the problem and support their customers. Kudos to them for being stand up sellers. So if something doesn’t work, you can have confidence that they will make it right for you.

Work well , I have not needed them yet but I am confident they will last .

This little roadside kit is such a steal! It’s clearly been well thought out and I feel good knowing it’s in my car. I live on a mountain where accidents happen all the time and the probability of having to use flares is rather high. I may even use them for when I have to put chains on my car in the winter as well. The headlamp is genius!

These are so perfect for my daughter who’s a college student. Having a magnet and hook makes them so easy to use for any type of situations. I bought one for each vehicles but hope we never have to use them.
