Freeze Dried Krill Fish Food For Marine and Tropical Fish (100g)

It feel it is important that I feed this food because there is a lot of natural roughage when feeding the krill whole like this. Processed foods do not seem to contain this roughage which I believe is important to the fishes digestive system.Krill are also convenient as I find that if I pour a little hot water over them and let them soak they will sink. This is suitable for my Clown Loaches which need sinking food. Gammarus and other shrimp float and each individual shrimp needs to be squashed to expel air before it will sink.There is of course dust with the krill as this is unavoidable when dealing with a dried product so I use a sieve to remove this.The price of this product is really excellent at under 10p per gram. I have been paying double this elsewhere.Finally a word about the seller. My krill came in a tough resealable transparent packet within a padded envelope. It was delivered very swiftly within 24 hours. This is excellent and an unexpected surprise.As you can tell I highly recommend this product and seller to others based on my one purchase so far.Edit 27 June 2019: The krill is small but perfect for Clown Loaches and is now 1/3 of their staple diet. To sink the krill, pour water that has just boiled over it and let it stand for about ten minutes. The floating krill will then sink. Pour it through a small net and rinse before adding to the tank.

Got my "krill" this morning not happy I buy krill for my cichlids and all krill I've ever brought is large this however half of it was powder and the rest which was still in form is so tiny it's worthless as feed for my Oscars and jaguar cichlids
