Candle Dye & Essential Oils Set

I make my own handmade candles, and these dyes and essential oils are perfect for my candles. They are very high quality, and I love the colors and scents. I highly recommend this kit to others who make candles, it's a great kit for a very reasonable price. 5 out of 5 stars.

I like the fragrances. I like the products but I didn't like it coming in messy with some of it leaking

I've been making candles and soaps since 2019 so I have some experience with good and bad scent oils (which is the primary reason I wanted to check out this kit), and, gotta say, these are some of the highest quality oils I've used. Candle Science is my normal supplier, for comparison, and these are, at least the batch I received, easily on par with anything of theirs.The scents are strong as expected with an Essential oil in soy wax with a decent throw, mix well with the wax. Just remember that essential oils (or EOs for short) are different from fragrance oils (or FOs) - they're concentrated by nature, so a little goes a long way!While I haven't used the dyes yet, I do have plans for them, and just based on my experience so far I have no reason to doubt they'll be just as good. I have a cute Unicorn head mold I've been dyihng to do something with.

This is a review for "Candle Dye & Essential Oils Set - 6 Candle Colors for Soy Beeswax Aromatherapy Candle, Rose Lavender Oils for DIY Candle Making Supplies - 0.35 oz Each 12 Bottles"This is a pretty good starter set for making candles. I was particularly drawn to the oil based colorings and the wick stand holder thingy. I was planning on using the wick wrapped around a pencil trick, but that requires rather long wicks in order to do. So this gives me mu flexibility and the wick holders are re-usable.The variety of colors to tint your wax with is nice. I find them to be pretty bright.The scents are alright. I really like the vanilla one. It is kind of like candied vanilla, rather than a normal vanilla.Overall, this is a good introductory set with plenty of ingredients that will be leftover to make multiple sessions of candles.I took off one star because the pictures in the sales post indicate a mold was also part of the kit. I received no mold. It isn't like I missed it in the box on the bottom or something. The box is only 1/2" tall, so there is no place where a mold could have been hiding.

Even though some of the essential oil bottles had oil on them, it did not appear as though it was due to any kind of leakage. Mist likely it was due to some contact at the manufacturer which isn't a big issue to me. The oils themselves are strong and have a pleasant scent, they'll definitely carry well into soy candles. The dyes are what you should expect and the waxed wicks are of good quality. It's a great starter kit for candle making and I would definitely recommend it.

The scents included with this are not very strong, but its an okay starter set if you just want to play around and learn how to make candles. I would not really expect professional results from this though.

This is a great starter kit. It comes with fragrance oil, colorants, fresh lavender, fresh rose petals, wicks? (not sure why), and a wax melt mold. All of the fragrance oils smell wonderful. I wasn't disappointed in any of them. Each cavity in the mold holds about 2.5 ozs of wax so for a good scent you would need to use the entire bottle of fragrance oil for each cavity. Most fragrance loads for wax are 10% - 12%. This kit is great for beginner practice.
