I like it more than a more expensive bulkier model from a different company
The old one I bought from another company was like wearing a Gameboy on your face and trying to sleep. I had little success with the old one. This model is slim and comfortable. I actually wear it through the night. I've only noticed the lights once but this is a device that requires practice to get results. There are many other ways to enhance the likelihood of becoming lucid.First make a habit of asking yourself if you are dreaming in real life and you'll start doing it in dreams.Second spend 15 minutes before bed looking at the back of your hand and saying to yourself, "this is a dream". Often the first image of a dream is the last image you saw before you went to sleep.Use music designed with subliminal messaging to become lucid in dreams.Put a sachel if mugwort under your pillow. Lavender cab also help and it smells pleasant. It is difficult to read or tell time in a dream. This can be a clue that you are dreaming. Try to read the clock or anything with words or numbers. If it is distorted you are dreaming.Once you become lucid it can be easy to drift back and lose lucidity. A trick to remaining lucid is to spin your body in the dream. This is also another way to test if you are dreaming. The inner ear has fluid inside of it that helps us keep our balance. When we spin it throws off that balance, and you can get dizzy, but in a dream the spinning isn't physically happening so there is no effect on the fluid in your inner ear. This tells your body your dreaming and also helps maintain lucidity if you have a waking dream. The final suggestions I have are two related ideas. One, keep a dream journal and write down your dreams as soon as you wake up. This will help you remember your dreams and it increases the odds of becoming lucid over time. Next is to keep a journal of your waking life and include some lucid dreaming goals or fantasies you want to play out in dreams. Stick with one goal at a time until you have some succes and then add a new one. Keep your focus on your goal as much as possible. If there is a fantasy you would like to have, then watch something related to it and actively imagine how it will be in your dream while you watch. For instance if you want to save middle earth from evil, then watch Lord of the Rings and imagine how you want your dream to look and feel.Oh and bonus tip, if your dream turns into a nightmare use the spinning technique. If it is a recurring nightmare then while you are spinning imagine yourself in a scene of your favorite place to be like a peaceful forest or lake side.I really hope this helps whom ever reads this. I've spent years trying to master this and even with all my knowledge it is difficult, so don't give up. This is a life long journey and it is worth it. You have to sleep regardless so you may as well try to transform that time into an incredibly powerful tool to enhance your existence. My favorite lucid dream is one where I became the cosmos. My body was made up of galaxies and nebulae. The space between, where nothing exists, is where your dreams can come TRUE! It's absolutely pure potential so go the F to sleep and have some fun!

It does not work, don’t buy
I fiddled with it for a half hour and found that nothing worked as the instructions said they should. There is the janky website that is supposed to be used to program it…I tried it at least 20 times. I’m not even going to try wearing it one night because it presses on my eyes and is totally uncomfortable.

It Works if You Do
Lucid dreaming is like any exercise, you have to put in the work before you can see results. Similarly, this mask only works if you've already been researching how to lucid dream. Plus a host of other factors; do you use a CPAP when you sleep? Should you? Do you take medication at night, 420 or otherwise? Take note of all the factors which could influence how you dream and experiment with some changes (doctor-qpproved, of course). This mask works best, I have discovered, when you use it frequently AND research lucid dreaming. Also it only alerts your brain if the lights are bright enough. So if you're taking stuff that keeps you from dreaming, don't do anything different at all to ensure you're actually getting rest, and expect the mask to do all the work for you, you will be disappointed. I dreamed weird things the second time I tried the mask, I have not been using my CPAP, I usually take 420 medication, and tend to eat way too much sugar before bed so it's a crapshoot. Anyway, do your research, find a cheap copy of a lucid dreaming book on Thriftbooks or at your local library or read articles, just educate yourself and give it time. Also for my psychically-inclined folks, you might try doing a protective grounding meditation before bed so you don't attract anything too negative or worry about attracting negative things.

Cheap and Horrible!!!!
I'm not sure what this blindfold is supposed to do or what makes it special. The lights does not work...very poor quality, really cheap - like from Dollar Tree quality!! I would like a full refund. Not sure at all why the price is so elevated!

Cool
Well I have not conquered lucid dreaming but this mask totally works- I don’t think my eyes register the mask when I fall asleep but the mask has a backup time to turn the lights on if I don’t trigger it myself... it goes off after 3.5 hours I put it to sleep. I think the mask is great and practice makes perfect
