So we have been using the sleeve for almost a month now. It does wash. It does have plenty of adjustment for chest size. The 2xl fits our cattle dog well. The sleeve cuffs come to just the top of his paw standing. I took a picture measuring the inseam at 10 inches. We used this for a hot spot on the top of the foot area along side a doughnut cone and it has worked fairly well. When the cone broke the sleeve kept him from worrying the Hotspot. Definitely recommend.

Our sweet dog had to have a large tumor removed from his armpit and the back of his elbow. Of course the vet gifted us with a "cone of shame" that was problematic for both him and us. He not only got stuck in some of his favorite places, he also figured out how to pull it off. So we ordered this sleeve, to cover his wound, and it was a LIFESAVER! Not only did it protect his stitches and the recovering wound, it was loose enough for property airflow and healing, and to also keep everything clean. The sleeve seemed pretty comfortable, didn't affect our dogs ability to lay in his favorite places, go through the dog door or restrict him as he recovered. With it he got to ditch the cone of shame and feel like he was having a pretty normal life, and so did we! Bonus...it made him look a little bit lie a buffed up wrestler, we had so many people compliment us on how cute he looked and that he only needed a bowtie. Best news was that the vet was really impressed with this sleeve during his follow up appointment when she also told us the tumor was cancer free! Hope we don't have to use it again, but so grateful that in a time of worry, this product brought some normalcy to both us and our beloved doggy!

My 67 lb lab was constantly licking her right front leg to the point of developing a sore on it. I tried many different applications and they all fell off within a few minutes of putting them on. I can across this product and thought how perfect it was for her situation. The XL fit her perfectly and kept her from licking her front leg so the area could heal. The only negative is that the neoprene has an odor to it, but that should dissipate in time I hope and does not affect the fit or function of this product.

Works as advertised!

This is a great protective sleeve I use for my dog elbows. He is older and is starting to get dry and cracking skin on his elbows from laying on hard surfaces. This really helps to prevent that and he can’t lick them. Good product does what it says.

My dog has a bad elbow and won’t tolerate a cone. This has been a wonderful alternative! It’s comfortable for her, not restricting, breathes well enough to let the affected area heal. Sadly for me, I didn’t think to wash it after a couple days of success and on her first full day alone she chewed through the sleeve. But! I can still use it! I just flipped it around, and now I know I need to wash it often or the smell of her wound seems to make her a little crazy (or maybe it was the steroids and she was just crazy, period). I like the material of this one over the t-shirt fabric one I also have, but I alternate between the two when I’m washing. I do recommend this sleeve over a cone!

This was a lifesaver for my dog. She had a wound on her leg that she wouldn't leave alone. It was right on her joint, so bandages would fall down.Bitter spray didn't stop her. This jacket kept her wound covered perfectly. I'm so thankful we found it!!!!
