I purchased this because I was feeling tired all the time. When it arrived, I tried it. It tells you to take one spoon. You can mix it with your coffee which I did and it changed the taste of my coffee just a little bit, but it still tasted good. The second time I tried it I took it right from the spoon. The taste reminds me a little bit like a licorice flavor. The first time I tried it my energy level was boosted. The second time I actually was able to get up and do one of my projects I had waiting for me around the house. I’m very happy with the results and most likely be purchasing this again. It was just the boost of energy I needed! I also love that it comes with its own cup and spoon for easy measuring and mixing. It also has a nice little pouch that you can keep everything in so they all stay together. The fact that it was on sale when I purchased it was an added bonus.

I purchased this about 2 months ago. Consistency was similar to others I've tried. Came with a cute cup and spoon. The taste was earthy and drinkable plain. It melted easily in hot water and turned the water dark with just a small amount. I usually don't notice much change until I stop taking. This did give me energy and helped my mood. So I purchased again. The 2nd jar, the shilajit is quite tacky and resembles actual resin. It smells awful, the jar was less full and a full serving barely turned the water a different color. But the taste and smell were just horrible. It was so bitter I could not drink it and the taste lingered for hours. This is not returnable, so out money and now have to find another brand. Not sure what happened between batches or maybe this is a different seller, but definitely not the same product. So disappointed, thought I finally found my shilajit......

I bought this after my father (who has bought shilajit for many years) immediately told me to taste this one, for some reason I did and I fell in love, almost every other shilajit I've tasted had such a horrible burnt tire taste that I had grown an aversion to it. But this shilajit tasted sweet and slightly earthy, almost as if it was honey. After I tasted the shilajit my dad bought, I immediately bought 2 more because they were on sale. To my disappointment I opened one and it still had that sweet taste followed by and incredibly bitter, disgusting after taste that lingers on the pallet. I had my dad try it and he said that this shilajit made a difference when he took it in his mood and energy so I guess it still works. Personally I feel like it give me a slight pep and helps me continue my morning without a hitch and when taken at night, it helps me sleep and drastically increases my sleep quality and even helped me start dreaming again ( I have had a decline in my sleep quality sleep over the last few years and i had stopped dreaming almost completely) the shilajit helps me wake up feeling less groggy. When I wake up I immediately want to make a coffee just so I can drink my daily shilajit. If you're on the edge of purchasing and wondering if it's worth it or not, it is. Even when the effects don't feel like alot for the first day, after a week there is a definite difference (Honestly look up the benefits of drinking shilajit because it's so much I don't think i can list it.Anyways hope this review helped you if you read it all

I had wanted to try shilajit for awhile to see if it would help with my joint pains. Shipping was quick and it arrived in perfect condition.It’s only been a few weeks so I have yet to report any results but I did want to share that this product was very nicely packaged. I appreciated that it came with both a metal cup that the jar of shilajit nests in and a small metal dispensing spoon which makes it very convenient to scoop out the resin. There is also a small velvety carrying bag to store everything in.As for the taste, I read many reviews that said it didn’t taste like much, and to add it to all sorts of hot or warm beverages. But I found there is a slightly smoky aroma and taste and when added to my coffee made it unpalatable. Now I take it with hot water since it ruins the taste of any beverage you have. The texture of the shilajit is similar to a very thick honey but it does dissolve fairly quickly in a hot liquid and does turn your beverage black which I found a bit off putting as well. Fortunately, you only take a small amount twice a day.

I've ordered this shilajit twice now and so far, I've had a great experience. It comes with a spoon and a cup, but I usually just place it directly under my tongue for convenience.

I have been using this product for a year now--I wanted to wait to comment until I was certain of the benefits. I purchased the product because I was told it would give me energy. What I experienced is prostate health--I have gone from getting up 5 times a night to just once, I even drink 8 ounces of water right before bed, I no longer have the painful urgency to get up to pee at night--not sure why, but it works--I stir in one big spoonful every morning into my coffee.
