Lost Boy

9yo chose this as one of his summer reading books, he must have liked it because he finished it in a week!

Tim Green has penned another wonderful tale, replete with real characters and a strong story line. This is a darker book than his previous works, and looks at the complexities of a modern teen's family life, good and bad. There's less baseball than a typical Tim Green book too, yet the whole pathway is interwoven around the sport. Clear personalities drive the action, and emotions are sometimes exciting, sometimes raw. It's a piece of real life that just fits.

Green did a great job at making you feel like you were Ryder. Taking you through all the emotions of saving his mother's life.

I thought that the book was amazing. I would recimend the book Lost Boy if you like sports and a story about a kids life. The fun about his life and challenges he has to face in his life as a kid. It's a incredible story.

I have this book five stars because there was not a time that I did not want to not read it. I also loved the suspense in it, with the big turning points. Wow!!! This book even for people that don't like reading should consider it.

A great and thrilling book. I would recommend this book for most kids with no hope. Never disappointed by Tim Green.

My son who happens to be a very reluctant reader loves this book. We have ordered two more by the same author. So happy we found a book he wants to read!
