Nice yarn!!
I fell in love with the yarn colors and wanted to weave a scarf. Its beautiful for weaving both warp and welf. Doesnt frizz, the individual strands of yarn stay together nicely. Will be midweight when im done. Works up beautifully on the loom. Highly recommend for the weaver in addition to knitters and crocheters.

Same good quality as all the other Caron Simply Soft yarns
Same good quality as all the other Caron Simply Soft yarns. My only complaint is that the sections of color are very short about 1" to 2" max before the color changes. It makes it very hard to find the right stitch to have some kind of flow or nice color shift. When I started working with it my first thought was "OMG it looks like the 90's threw up". The first picture (with the ball of yarn) is when I first started working with it. The 2nd is after messing with it a while using a 6mm hook and a tight triple stitch pattern for a beanie.

# yards per skein
In the description of this yarn it states there is 250 yds. per skein. This is incorrect. I ordered it and after receiving it, the label states there is only 234 yds. per skein. Disappointed as I had to order more for my project.

Quality is questionable. Yarn not threaded tightly :(
I'm using this yarn for to crochet a blanket and am not happy with the quality. I choose to crochet instead of knit because it's much faster, however the yarn is so loosely held together that I often end up with one or two threads on the hook and have to keep redoing a stitch to include the whole thread or try to hide pieces I've missed. I've included a few pics of examples. This is making the project tedious. I dont have this issue with other yarn I use. It's hard to "get in the zone" when I have to meticulously make sure the yarn stays together. On the positive side it is soft and I love the colors. I think it would make a great scarf and if I get tired of fighting to keep the yarn together, I may make this into a scarf instead.

Two tie knots with five rows...seriously?
I've used yarn (including a lot of Caron), for years and I have recently tried to make a very complicated knitted sweater (baby), and more than half way through, I got not ONE, but TWO tie knots within 5 rows of each other (see photo)!! I can't give this as a gift for anyone's baby, because I can't hide the one right on the edge, but I may be able to use it on one of my dolls...why were there so many tie knots? I still have half the skein left (and need to finish the top of the sweater and the sleeves...I honestly hope I don't find another tie knot.

Workable but disappointing
Price was twice that of Walmart. Yarn labeled "Yarnspirations" is not as glossy or soft as yarn not labeled as such. It did blend, but is not the same quality.

Great match to repair a vintage afghan
I bought this yarn online to repair a vintage afghan that was crocheted in 1974 by a coworker's mother-in-law. The original yarn was wool, not acrylic, but the colors matched almost exactly. I love working with Caron Simply Soft... great colors and nice sheen to the yarn.

Lovely wool, great colours, be careful if using for weaving.
I bought 2 skeins of this yarn for weaving and overall I loved it, made a great scarf and the colours are just to die for! I'm a novice weaver but I don't think I can recommend using this wool for the warp. The quality has some inconsistencies in both skeins so I had some threads threatening to break on the warp, others with large clumps of fibre that made bulges in the weave. I brought the tension way down and was still able to finish the project but just a word to the wise if you're planning to weave with this yarn. Perfectly possible but mildly risky.

Good wool
Great to work with, plenty on the ball and no snagging or splitting issues. Used it to create some cute octopi cuddlies for premie babies

Beautiful Yarn
Great value and good quality for money. Caron simply soft is almost impossible to get here in Ireland and better quality than the stylecraft special aran. I will be purchasing more.
