Just awesome
Every now and then something enters your life that brings you pure joy. This keychain is one of those things. Actually shifts using a reliably low-tech ball on a spring on the shifter rod to keep everything aligned. Not as smooth as my Honda Accord's shifter, not a rifle-bolt action like on my '07 Cayman....but great all the same.For the price if it lasts a few weeks I'll be thrilled. Definitely a great gift for the motoring enthusiast in your life. Five stars all around.

Fun fidget toy, quality commensurate with price
For $5, you can't expect a machined ball-bearing gated shifter - and you're not getting that. You are getting a cute conversation piece - a bit big for a keychain in my opinion, but would probably look great with "Save the manuals!" laser engraved around the outside. Took mine a few "shifts" to loosen up but became reasonably smooth after that.Worth the price of admission for a car person.
