Very tiny, challenging, and fun
The media could not be loaded. Really surprised by how challenging this was. I’ve done a lot of robotime/rokr wooden models but never plastic, and there were a lot of little things that I got to learn building this (eg how to load up the tiny screws properly, making sure to realllyyy attach the electronic parts together well, sanding off the plastic selvages really well). Luckily, it all worked out (after a couple of disassemblies!) and shout out to the included magnetic precision screwdriver 🫡

Best gift!
Bought this as a gift for my fiancé (preassembled by me of course) and it was a BIG hit! Even more so after turning on the lights and motion! Teeny tiny screws, but magnetic screwdriver included. Does not come with nippers to remove plastic pieces, but cuticle nippers worked great! Absolutely gorgeous when finished and only took a little over an hour to assemble.

Easy to assemble and looks nice
The media could not be loaded. For starters, a majority of the item is plastic, but part of the wings are metal, so make sure you have the right tools to cut the parts out of their frames. Be very VERY gentle with plastic part of the wings, they are quite fragile when removing them from their sort of sticker sheet thing. Everything worked well after assembly. The wings beat very smoothly. It's a very cute piece of home decor. The light is not very bright at all so could serve well as a night light.

My least favorite ROKR model
This wasn’t as fun as the Beatle or the scorpion. The wings are finicky. I probably need to pull it apart and try again. The wings flap really slowly compared to the beatle model. That guy flaps!

Intricate pieces require careful assembly. There are more pieces than it seems. It was fun to put together.

My son owns all of these sets. The butterflies being his favorites. They are easy for him to put together.

The mechanism goes over center
The bummer is that the motor drives the wings out of range. The gearing is only set one way, so there is no adjustment. Mine worked if you pressed down on the wings to get it started. Unfortunately when I was doing this it broke one wing off. No way to glue it back. Even without one wing, the model would not flap. It was easy to build and it looks nice.

Didn't work right, but I got it working
The media could not be loaded. I had to make alterations to make it work. The flower clamps down on the motor too tightly. I tried to use the included lubrication but it didn't help. Ended up shaving the rubber seal around motor to allow it to rotate. Had to take it apart several times to get it right.Now that it's together it is great!
