To begin with, be careful if paying for two day delivery, I say this because I ordered on Thursday but didn't receive my order till Monday afternoon. Secondly the colour in the picture doesn't reflect the actual colour of the product which is a much lighter blue.Now for the good bits:For those worried about previous reviews you need to spend lots of time prepping your wheels for the rimblades to adhere properly. Just cleaning the wheels with any old soap before using the provided wipes is not enough. You need to strip the wheels and tyre of any waxes, detailing coats/liquids, tyre dressings etc etc before even attempting to use the provided wipes. Products for this purpose can be obtained from most reputable outlets, G9 body prep is a good start. For an 18" wheel you're looking to spend 20/30 mins prepping before even thinking about application as this is the most important step of all. If it's cold outside the rimblade blade will be stiff and the adhesive tricky, this can be overcome by careful use of a heatgun/hairdryer, you only need to warm the immediate area your working in and you don't want it hot just luke warm. You could also take the wheel off and do it indoors if you prefer. When applying the actual product make sure to press down hard as you push the rimblade on and then once complete spend around five minutes applying pressure to all areas paying particular attention to the cut ends.Overall the product is very good, looks good and feels like it's up to the job in hand. If applied properly and looked after by future tyre fitters then it has the potential to last a long time whilst keeping your expensive rims safe from harm.

bit tricky to stick on the rims

Although I did not remove the wheels to fit the Rimblades, I spent ages cleaning and preparing the wheels as per the instructions. They looked great. All was fine for a few weeks. Then, as I was driving at 70 MPH, all hell broke loose. There was an awful, loud battering noise. I initially thought I'd had a tyre blow-out. Then I saw this whirling arc accompanying the constant banging, and it became clear that the Rimblade had mostly come off, but was still attached to the wheel at one end. At 70 MPH, the tip must have been almost supersonic and was furiously whipping the wheel arch and side of my car! I was on a busy A road with no verge. I was able to slow down a little but he Rimblade constantly threatened other motorists as well as inflicting damage on my car. It was about half a mile before I could stop. The result was devastation. The entire front wing and drivers door was black where it had been whipped by the Rimblade. Very luckily, it was not dented, but it took several hours with T-Cut to remove it, and many more hours to remove the others - leaving adhesive marks on all the rims. Avoid like the plague. These are dangerous.

Fitted them to my MX5 and it has really lifted them although they are primarily used as rim "Protectors", my rims are not scuffed so I fitted them to make the wheels look a little more attractive and individual.(in my opinion)purely as a way of decoration.I recommend you visit YouTube to pick up a few tips on how to fit them. I removed the wheels and laid then flat on a table,(having first covered it with plastic) which made the process much more accessible. Spend some time cleaning the area between rim and tyre beforehand,I used some metalated spirit to ensure no silicon was evident, also advisable to warm the rim a little with a hair dryer or hot air gun.From then on, follow the instructions, refit wheels and stand back and admire.

Had my wheels refurbished before applying so the surface was clean and smooth before install however the tape supplied isn't good enough and comes off

I took my time fitting them and obeyed all of the instructions regarding cleaning and fixing and they look great and serve the purpose at the same time.I also needed a spare and the Company provided this on my next order without any problem. Very good service.

looks great

Bought these April 2018 to put in a set of winter wheels that were being taken off a car. Put them on as instructions said, then put wheels into storage till last weekend. Put winter wheels back on car, they have lasted 1 week! The n/s rear one came off while car was moving and has scratched all the rear arch. Seller not interested.Poor product and poor customer service.
