Sweet Tooth: 100 Desserts to Save Room For (A Baking Book)

Some of my favorite recipes to bake over the years have been Sarah’s—I was so happy to be able to pre-order this book! The book has a few very beautiful, more complicated recipes for experienced bakers, but is also full of very fun, easy, delicious classic desserts for someone just beginning. It also has an entire section in the beginning of the book dedicated to equipment and education that is actually helpful. The recipes are great, I love the way they are separated out. The photography is stunning throughout. There is a section dedicated to very impressive looking desserts that I know I will be dipping into for dinner parties and family gatherings. I love that in the back of the book is a great selection of 1-2 serving desserts—yes yes yes. More of this! I’m so happy to be able to support Sarah as an author. As a lifetime baker I have enjoyed her videos and blog so much. She brings such a fun, lovely disposition to baking that makes her content accessible for anyone who wants to make something sweet. I bought one for myself and will be buying others for family members. Great book.

This is a Wonderful baking book! Its packed full of scrumptious recipes. Easy to follow and not complicated to bake. This book was recommended by my son as he had rave reviews about it. I have made several cookies out of this book and I have yet to be disappointed! I also follow Sarah’s blog and have made other delicious recipes as well. I highly recommend!!

The best baking cookbook! I have so many cookbooks and this is by far my favorite for desserts. Some classics and some innovative recipes but is too hard for a home baker.

I’ve made only a few recipes from this book and they were all 10/10 perfection. I can’t wait to continue baking through this book! Instructions were clear on all the recipes I have tried. Ingredients were all available at my local grocery stores. Buy it!!

This cookbook is my favorite right now. Her recipes are clearly written and go into great details. I’ve used several recipes so far and am extremely pleased with how they go together nicely and come out perfect. It’s not easy to find a cookbook like this one that you can rely on the results of your recipe. She is awesome, and so are her recipes. Love the fact that the pictures are beautiful. I’d recommend this cookbook for anyone who wants to bake with confidence.

Everything I have made from this sweets cookbook has been delicious and flavor is just perfect. Nothing is too complicated or complex to make if you are a fairly decent cook/baker. The instructions are clear but there are a few recipes that using baking terms or techniques that if you are very beginner level cook you may find confusing. Each recipe has an image so that’s nice bc you know how it’s supposed to look at finish. Love making things from scratch for my family and this cookbook gives you so many recipe options so you can have things on hand each week but not get sick of any one sweet treat. I made the oatmeal cream pies for a road trip snack, put each one in a ziplock and they tasted just like the ones you can get at a gas station but a lot cleaner ingredients and less processed junk. I had converted the oatmeal cream pies to use my sourdough starter (I took a picture of the recipe and uploaded it to chatGPT and asked chat to make it a sourdough discard recipe) and they still came out delicious. There are some wonderful cake recipes in this cookbook and they are more elevated than some overpriced specialty bakery’s cake.

Such a fun recipe book. We have made quite a few desserts and love it. My daughter is in culinary and loves to bake. She made me awesome Nutella blondies for Mother’s Day and has made quite a few cakes, cookies, and muffins. It also has really great instructions and tips.

This is my favorite dessert book to date. I love her recipes on TikTok, and they always come up perfect. I love that she has all of her recipes also on video, and you can look them up and see what you need if you don't understand something from the book. I feel like with this book, I've nailed every recipe because they end up looking exactly as promised. easy to follow and yummy! Heads up: Always remove 50-70g of sugar from the recipes! I feel like they still come up perfect and less sugary.

Have been following this author on Insta for ages and love her recipes. This book is a great representation of some of her best, LOVE the single serve section, so good when you just want a little treat and don't want to make a whole batch of something. Highly Recommend. Lovely picture and a very handy conversion page.
