Excellent product. I use this to spread mineral oil on the Island butcher block. Quick and easy way to spread the oil. Recommend it.

We have used this a couple times. It works fine, but sometimes it's pretty messy.

I only got to use it once because I made the mistake of using some really nice beeswax oil/balm/whatever to grease some wood on wood drawer slides. Why is this a mistake? Well, apparently it somehow ended on the floor and the dogs - who are actually all very good dogs and don't usually do anything like this! - ate the applicator part. Oops. Anyway, not a problem with the product. User error. My dogs really love honey and I know this. 10/10, will buy again, just will be better about putting it away afterwards.

I love this gadget. It definitely makes it easier to spread the oil on your cutting board smoothly and without getting your hands greasy.

Love this tool! I especially love the cup that I am using as a way to store the brush after use. Some people are using the cup to dispense the oil and wet the sponge to apply the oil. I am not doing that. I apply the oil right onto the brush and then apply the oil to the cutting board.

I wish I had purchased one of these when I bought my wooden steak plates. I've been applying butcher block wax by hand, and it is messy and I was using a lot of wax each time. Since I use my steak plates several times a week, I was applying wax to them at least twice a week. I just bought this applicator sponge, and let me tell you it has been amazing! Far less messy than applying by hand, and I use a fraction of the wax.
