Counterfeit number on shock
Ordered 2 front shocks #5751 , one was right and the other one had a different # , they both looked the same , I called Monroe Company and the shock with the wrong number had never been in there data base , they said they had never made a shock with that number on it , the number was cast into the metal and also stampted on the box , being the 2 shocks looked the same I decided to keep them , the shock with the wrong number might be a counterfeit [ not made by Monroe] thanks Jim
