Q: Can these be used to wipe around my Chihuahua's eyes?

Our wipes are specially formulated for use on paws, bum and body. We recommend avoiding areas like eyes or ears since they tend to be more sensitive.

Thank you for your question! Our 99% Biobased compostable wipes are made using Lenzing™ Viscose Fibers. Our manufacturing facility is located in China and has exceeded the standards set forth by international organizations required by baby and facial wipes manufacturers. These certifications include: Nordic Swan Ecolabel, ISO 9001, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMPc), BCR, GMP, as well as EPA compliance for ensuring the proper disposal of water and wasterwater.

Q: Would these wipes wipe away Urushiol from dog’s fur if they came into contact with poison ivy?

Giving your pet a bath in dish detergent should be sufficient in removing poison ivy oils. Keep in mind that Dawn and other dish detergents could very well remove any topical flea/tick meds you might have on your pet. If your pet seems to have had a reaction to poison ivy then I'd contact your Veterinarian, although I have never seen this in my years of working at a Vet hospital. I think you should give your pet a bath rather than using these wipes.
