Just ok
These hold fingerprints like crazy, between the shiny black frame and the lenses they are so hard to keep clean. The frame had a click type open and close that's kind of annoying, as it feels like they you are sort of slamming the frame shut rather than a more gentle swing inward. It's definitely for bigger heads, they sort of remind me of 3D movie glasses they give you in theme parks and movies where it goes wider near the temple and has giant lenses. That's how they feel too. There's not as many options for bigger heads, so if you just love green lenses go for it, but bring a wipe with you.

They grew on me
At first I felt they were too wide and I didn’t like that they left a gap but after wearing them a while now I have found that I really like them for driving at work. They are lightweight and comfortable and I ordered the purple lens option. I have to say it looks really nice in person and I have gotten a few compliments already.I do find they reduce glare considerably to the point where they are too dark to wear on an overcast day (I get migraines so sometimes I need to wear sunshades in cloudy weather because it’s still too bright. The lightweight frame and wide design make them very comfortable to wear both with and without my prescription glasses. Time will tell how they hold up.Overall for the price point I really like these and would recommend. 👍🏻

Purple and...
Purple and polarized; that's why I ordered these.Purple, one of my two favorite colors and polarized; a requirement for all my sunglasses.I did the old fashioned test (take a known pair of polarized glasses, put one lens in front of the unknown pair; keep one vertical, turn the other horizontal; it will go dark (if polarized) to confirm these are indeed polarized; they are.For a big head...I'm not sure what constitutes a "big head" but I measured my head, above the ears with the tape measure on my forehead. My head is 22" around there; these fit me; well.....mixed.The temples (stems) fit securely, but not tight. Not loose either though. The part that is for a "big head" in my view, is the front; the lenses. They are too big for my face; so it's like I'm wearing a purple mirrored windshield, so if you have a large face, I bet these will be good for you.I tried them over my prescription glasses; the design of the frame didn't work for that (darn!).Visual acuity: Looks good to me.From behind the lenses (with them on) I get a sort of green tint, looking out."Snap screw hinges" What is that???I'm not sure exactly, but they have a snap kind of feel, going into and out of place when you open/close them. Are they sprung hinges? No, I don't think so.Materials and workmanship: My test pair was a "made in Italy" pair with similar frames that came from Costco; cost many times the price of these. These seem easily as nice and well made as the ones from Costco.Look: Good; they'd look better if they weren't too big for my face!I've given a 4 star rating based on initial impressions and *perceived* quality, not on long term use.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.
