Keeper 04629 25' x 2" Ratchet Tie-Down with J-Hooks, 4 Pack

I recently purchased a new tractor that I needed to move so I could do some work on another property. My tractor plus loader/box blade/etc. tips the scale north of 5,000lbs. Looking at the local hardware store, I found that straps or chains in the proper load range were >$50 a piece. I popped over here to see what I could find and, poof, 4 straps for the price I was finding for 1 locally. Shipped quick, as always. These are beefy straps and hardware. The box was large and heafty. The straps were all individually secured with bindings and in great shape. It's hard to say if they are actually as strong as the rating, but the craftsmanship and quality of material leaves little question. I secured my tractor and moved it with no issue. I will be adding axle straps to this combo, just because it isn't always easy to find spots to use the hooks on. Great product.

FedEx delivered the package and when I went to move the box I was like dang, whats in here...Bricks! I had no idea these things where going to be this heavy duty. I mean they are bad to the bone! One of them weighs as much as 8 of the one inch straps. I bought them to hold square hay bales to a flat bed utility trailer and that hay isn't going anywhere.These look like what semi- truck drivers use. Supper heavy duty.The ratcheting mechanism is killer tough looking and very well made. Easy to use with plenty of leverage, easy to lock and easy to release. The strap is also well made with nice looking stitching and very heavy hooks.These are probably overkill for my hay. I would have to say overkill for lawn tractors or motorcycles. They can hold cars i'm sure. For what they cost though......I would rather have to much than not enough. If you price this quality and strength straps separately they average $20 bucks each so this was a good buy I feel.

Used 8 of them to secure my Jeep to a flat bed trailer - 4 on the axles and 4 on the frame (probably overkill, but for the price why not?). Kept the vehicle in place traveling 1,000+ miles over some rough roads at highway speeds. These straps and ratchets are very durable and the hooks are solid. However, the hooks are very large and bulky and I was limited to places I could attach them. They would not fit the oval holes in the frame that are designed for tie-downs. Fortunately I have a Jeep with lots of D ring attachments so for me it wasn't too big a deal.

Purchased as a gift for my husband who was having problems with the Tie-downs that he had breaking (unfortunately we lost a Rocker and a Refrigerator out of the back of his truck, both on separate occasions). As I learned.... these are basically overkill for his needs but the quality is outstanding and generally speaking he was very pleased (when he quit laughing). Now he is actually glad to have them.

I bought these to secure my Artic Cat 1000. Don’t want that thing moving around and these keep it strapped down nice and tight. Very strong and easy to use. I also like the fact that you can “lock” down the handle and that the straps are so long. Great 4 pack and are a great addition for any trailer.

Big fat tie downs which I purchased from Amazon through something I'd never seen before, some kind of returns department. Who cares if a tie down strap has been unrolled and has a smudge of oil on it, if you save even more money?We use these to strap tarps down on hay and other piles of stuff at our ranch, and they are great: long, strong, good hardware, and very visible so you don't accidentally feed them to the animals!This is the sort of thing that every rural person needs a bunch of, because you'll always find uses for them.

Very strong/durable, nice hooks. my complaint is that the ratcheting mechanism is a real pain to use. I tried lubing them a little to see if that would help but it hasn't. I have used many ratchet straps, these ones can be a pain. this is my first set of straps this large so it could be that I am just not used to a larger size ratchet but I don't think that's the case since 2 of the 4 seem to work better than the others.

Solid tie downs. I was worried they might be of less quality then described, but they are made of super thick webbing and the ratchet portion seems bullet proof. Very well built, very tight ratcheting mechanism, strong hooks with a very simple tension release lever. These are my go to tie downs whenever I I have to strap anything to one of my trailers.

These things are crazy heavy duty! I love that they're super long; way more than average. The price is on point for sure! They ratchet easily, and lock when finished so they won't come undone. The hooks are super heavy duty. Highly recommended!BUY THIS!!!!

They are good. Unfortunately we did not understand they come in a 4 pack and ordered 2 packs instead of one. Oh well!

I bought two packs of these straps so I wouldn't be short when moving an automotive shop on a 24' open deck trailer.These were just the ticket. They have a clear rating tag sewn to the strap which keeps them legal for commercial vehicles and over the course of a month and a half and 50+ loads of heavy steel and equipment with sharp edges moved 30 km we didn't have a single strap failure or damage.Unfortunately I'm down to having just two straps as someone liked them so much they stole the last load and the trailer.I guess it's time to order some more.
