Thought this was really cute to begin the Santa Christmas cookie tradition. Very nice little details with the raised writing and pictures. Definitely worth the month to have something to carry through the years with the kids and also a nice gift if your looking to give to grandkids or nieces and nephews. Also, you cant tell feom thw pictures, but the to says "to: santa" and the from says "from: santa" so it gives a place for Santa to leave a return note back to the children after he has visited. The box serves as a storage box as well so plus on that too. Overall great buy even if a little more money than other sellers.

This was a little pricey (about $40 if I recall), but I didn't care. It really is super cute. I was looking for a plate and cup and found this instantly and didn't look any further. It was a total whim purchase and I'm so glad I bought it. And I guess considering it's all porcelain and breakable, the price really wasn't bad. I just meant it's a little high for a Santa treat. (Most people with young ones might choose a plastic version, I guess is my point). The chalk isn't like chalk you'd use in a school. It's non-powdery chalk. I thought it was cool! (I'm easily amused). And it wrote very neat and clean on the plate. So glad I purchased this and I recommend anyone with little bitties to get one, too!! :)

I purchased this product for my granddaughters. The set is very well made and looks even better that the picture. Worth the money. The chalkboard for writing a message is very clever. The girls love it! Highly recommend.

About five years ago, I purchased two sets of Child to Cherish Santa's Message Plate Sets". Each Christmas my grandchildren look forward to leaving cookies, milk, and carrots for Santa and the reindeer. Some reviewers mentioned that the chalk doesn’t completely wash off the plates, and I experienced this issue as well. So this year, I decided to try a mixture of Soft Soap and water and gently scrubbed the plates in a circular motion. This finally cleaned the plates and did not hurt the chalkboard finish. I hope that other people find this helpful.

These are very well made and super cute! I bought three of them and would highly recommend them! Great keepsake item!
