Best available usb hub
This is exactly what I was looking for to add more I/O ports to my laptop. It has lots of USB-C ports upto 10 mgps and one with power in which allows several external ssd's, phone, camera all at thw same time. You can connect it to a monitor or projector, ethernet as well as transfer from SD/MicroSD cards. Its a solid aluminum build.

severely damaged my macbook do NOT buy
This hub seriously damaged my MacBook Pro battery. After using it for only a short period, the battery became deeply discharged despite being plugged in and showing as “charging.” The laptop became completely unresponsive for hours. When it finally powered on again, the charging ports were unstable and now no longer work at all — not even with the original Apple charger. This hub has clearly caused hardware damage. I demand compensation. How can I get in touch with you directly about this? Avoid this product at all costs.

Not used yet but good build quality and expect it to meet my needs.

Works great
Finally a USB-C hub that does everything I need and replaces all the crappy ones I have purchased in the past. It meets all the specifications listed in the spec and Satechi is a really good brand. I have since purchased other Satechi products.
