Great but with one exception
Love this product. It's hydrating and persistent. On bare/exposed skin hours later I can still feel where I applied it. Even inside a shirt sleeve it won't be as evident but your skin will still be hydrated. I have not found it to stain any clothing either. I use Recovery Derm Shield, then this, power past the dry and flaking stage. Vibrant and healed. That all being said, the size of container matters!! The smaller tin is like a pomade or shoe polish. It stays firmer through the life of the tin. You could smoosh it up but I found it to be more resilient. The bigger jar turned into a slurry on me in a week, like honey or syrup. If tipped it'll pour right out, unlike the tin which I would routinely turn upside-down to pop it back on it's lid. Both were kept in the same climate-controlled bathroom. Maybe I got a bad jar, but on my skin it feels and smells like the same product. Just a VERY different consistency.

Helped me through the scary scabbing and flaking week!
The pics are from moments after completion of the tattoo and about 2 weeks after. I started with Aquaphor but it felt thick and was mostly petroleum jelly. A friend recommended this and I'm glad they did.I'm a bit older to be getting a piece this large (52) so my skin isn't perfect for healing. After a week the piece really started to scab and peel even while it was plenty covered with salve - it was scary but I kept being good about washing and reapplying the Green Goo. Now, almost two weeks later all the rough patches that wanted to peel have washed away at their own pace and my tattoo remains just as bold. I've read that the ink will get lighter after two more weeks.I'm not sure what to say about the most popular negative review saying that the tattoo didn't heal at all. I guess everyone's body chemistry is different. It worked for me and I'll use it for my next one.

Amazing product
I used multiple different products for tattoo care after getting new ink or just moisturizing the existing one. This products in my case cuts off days of the healing process I love how it smells and how it makes my skin feel’s definitely recommend and worth every penny

Best pain relief I could find
After the initial healing, your tattoo will start to itch like crazy! This balm helps totally eliminate the itch. I don’t care what other tattoo artists say, cause I’ve used the other stuff they recommend and this tattoo balm is the only stuff that works for me. It also cuts down on the time it took my tattoo to heal. I know cause I’ve had tattoos without this stuff and having it was a total game changer for me

Great product!
Aquaphor was causing me to break out around my tattoo, this product was great. Didn’t break out once.

I had a tattoo that was healing unusually dry. This did the trick. It was soothing and helped tremendously with the itching throughout the healing process. Great stuff
