It works , but needed extra parts.
I have a Craftsman door opener system. This unit did fit, just a little shorter than the original, not a problem though. The one thing that would have helped was having the nuts and washer for the threaded rod that connects to the chain and into the trolley, it was metric. The original had a round hole and this unit came with a D shaped hole on the trolley and the rod was standard thread. I had to bore the D shape hole on the trolley to fit the original rod.

Does not work properly
The release trigger is way too sensitive so the garage door is constantly disconnecting

Seems to be universal part.
Only needed part of this for fixing garage door. But was exactly what was pictured and what I needed.

Not a Good Experience.
The nylon guides in my current opener carriage were pretty well just gone. I couldn't find just the nylon guide replacements so I seen this carriage and just thought I would replace the entire thing. In the interest of keeping this short, I would not recommend this carriage. I found that the emergency door release acutator would not stay in place upon raising the door from the all the way down position. I couldn't say why other than speculate that the spring inside the actuator is too weak. My original one will make a loud pop into place and it's locked in. This new one It hardly made a sound. I have a double wide door that is heavy but I have good lift assist springs and lifting it by hand is no issue. It's very light with the springs. So this carriage in my opinion should not have had any issue raising this door. I had to uninstall this new one and remove the nylon guides and put those into my old carriage and reinstall my original carriage. No more issues. After the emergency door release popped loose twice, I was done with this new one. I just didn't trust it. I gave this 2 stars for the simple fact it arrived on time, it was all in the bax unopened and the guides actually fit my carriage.

Great replacement
This fits perfectly with our Craftsman garage door opener. Trolley was easy enough to install. Great value for the money. No need to call a professional for troubleshooting or installation.
