This hospital blanket is just what I was trying to find, I am in the ER some for health problems, and I wanted a lightweight blanket like the ones they have. This one is almost just like it. It seems well made!, no frays, and I even have 2 cats. I couldn’t determine the material of the ones in the ERs, so this one is not “as soft”, but it works well for me. Very pleased at the weight. I have temperature regulation issues, and it’s lightweight, and I’m happy with it. I ought to note that I am very picky with quality and with bedding, as I am in bed perhaps a bit more than others.

They're white but it's easy to wash them. I have three of them. In winter, I use all three to form three layers. Two blankets work well for warmer weather. The dog sleeps on the bed with me. So far, the blankets haven't been damaged by her toenails.

I will order another. Feels so good. I like to layer blankets.

Nothing like what is in the hospitals- Its scratchy, and it was delivered to me in a GNC box which was alarming since I never order from GNC, and as soon as I opened it- there was long wavy black hairs. And short black hair on the blanket. This is def going into the wash. Not appreciating all the hair and shady box.Update: it wasnt quite 70X90 to begin with, but after washing, it shrunk to 60x76.5I had bought this to use as a middle layer in a quilt, good thing I prewashed to get the actual measurements otherwise the quilt would have been ruined. It would have been my own mistake though- it is cotton after all! Ps- it IS much softer after washing.

This blanket is exactly as advertised, lightweight soft washes well.I sit up late reading, and I use this blanket for late night chills.I bought a second that is on my bed. Love em!

Light weight but had some machine grease stains but I kept it anyway. I really needed it right away for my 100 year young mother and didn't want to wait for a return and resend. She insists on having a blanket and her winter one is tooheavy for the hot summer night we are having.

I don't think the information on the purchase page made it clear whether this was 100% cotton or not, but it is. It's not exactly like the bath blankets I have used in the hospitals I have worked in, but it is a very good blanket. The weave is small so no air gaps as I feared there might be. But the cotton breathes while it provides the warmth needed. It does not become oppressively warm during the night as cotton/poly blends do. I highly recommend this when you need something warmer than a sheet, but lighter than most other blankes.

So this is just like those great heated blankets you get from there and maybe take home nonchalantly? They are not heated tho. Throw them in the dryer for a warmer version. I love them just as they are. Might be considered a summer weight blanket. Considering my age 56 I can only use this weight. The material is not Egyptian cotton but it works for me, no frills. Gets softer with washing too. I own more than one lol
