I don't think the information on the purchase page made it clear whether this was 100% cotton or not, but it is. It's not exactly like the bath blankets I have used in the hospitals I have worked in, but it is a very good blanket. The weave is small so no air gaps as I feared there might be. But the cotton breathes while it provides the warmth needed. It does not become oppressively warm during the night as cotton/poly blends do. I highly recommend this when you need something warmer than a sheet, but lighter than most other blankes.

This hospital blanket is just what I was trying to find, I am in the ER some for health problems, and I wanted a lightweight blanket like the ones they have. This one is almost just like it. It seems well made!, no frays, and I even have 2 cats. I couldn’t determine the material of the ones in the ERs, so this one is not “as soft”, but it works well for me. Very pleased at the weight. I have temperature regulation issues, and it’s lightweight, and I’m happy with it. I ought to note that I am very picky with quality and with bedding, as I am in bed perhaps a bit more than others.

i wanted a hospital blanket with a close weave that my cats couldn't snag easily, and this is it. washed well, and got thicker and softer with washing. there is a bit of pilling, but the good points (lightweight, soft, comfortable, nice unbleached color) outweigh the bad (not 100% cotton, slight fabric pills). i upgraded to 5 stars because item is wearing well, and i am very happy with the blanket.

This is a fantastically light, yet warm blanket. Nice texture & feel, great for use with massage therapy.

Light weight but had some machine grease stains but I kept it anyway. I really needed it right away for my 100 year young mother and didn't want to wait for a return and resend. She insists on having a blanket and her winter one is tooheavy for the hot summer night we are having.

Nothing like what is in the hospitals- Its scratchy, and it was delivered to me in a GNC box which was alarming since I never order from GNC, and as soon as I opened it- there was long wavy black hairs. And short black hair on the blanket. This is def going into the wash. Not appreciating all the hair and shady box.Update: it wasnt quite 70X90 to begin with, but after washing, it shrunk to 60x76.5I had bought this to use as a middle layer in a quilt, good thing I prewashed to get the actual measurements otherwise the quilt would have been ruined. It would have been my own mistake though- it is cotton after all! Ps- it IS much softer after washing.

After a single wash, it was frayed and looked like I had the blanket for 7 years. The material was not quality. Ended up giving it to the dog. Not worth the price or effort at all.

I got these for my dad who was on in-home hospice care. They are lightweight and warm at the same time. As a diabetic, he couldn't handle the weight on his feet, so these blankets were perfect.
