This teapot has been a game changer for making sencha. The flavor of my sencha is so much improved over using an English style glass teapot. Each day I get excited to make sencha after my 2 servings of matcha. Green tea has changed my life and this kyusu is a great addition to my growing tea collection. This kyusu is beautiful and arrived extremely well packaged and protected.

Sehr dünnwandiger Guss. Die Kanne ist nicht getöpfert sondern in einer Form gegossen worden. Sie ist sehr leicht und fühlt sich nicht sehr stabil an. Die Farbe ist eher ein metallisches Rosa als ein Braun. In den Produktfotos macht die Kanne eher einen kugeligen Eindruck. In wirklichkeit ist sie eher flacher. Der Deckel ist nicht aus einem Guss sondern der Knopf ist aufgesetzt worden...schief. Ich werde sie trotzdem behalten und testen.

The tea pot I received was way above what I expected. It was truly crafted well. It is also crafted in Japan. The tea pot is slightly smaller than other tea pot I use. I believe the clay used is a higher quality than on my more expensive tea pot.The strainer is on the bottom of the pot ,which helps the tea leaf from getting over heated. The brewing aspect of this tea pot I also lovely and does an exceptional job. The tea pot I definitely a bit more fragile than my main tea pot, but I mean this in an interesting way. Lastly the price point of this pot is beyond fair. I've been testing it in a few different ways. If It lasts (doesn't Crack or break from heat )than it will be a true winner. So far,so great. No substitute authentic craftsmanship and good design

Nice quality. Keeping it because my other one broke. Not a fan of the strainer. Never seen this type before. It may surprise me!
