Love this dress! I wore it with friends to a Pride and Prejudice tea party event and it was so comfortable and held out great! Worth the price. I am 5'7 and 155 lbs and the medium fit me perfect. I bought the green. It came with a ribbon sash and has loops that hold it up. I am bustier so I appreciate it fits my specific body proportions. The gloves that come with it are so soft and comfy also. I used a steamer to get the wrinkles out and it worked no problem. I wore a slip since in the sun it was a little see through. But honestly not much. It probably wouldn't be a problem since it does have a slip but I did not risk it. Recommend!!!

The dress was very nice and well made, with a flattering style and good quality fabric. However, it definitely ran large. I would recommend sizing down if you are between sizes. Overall, a pretty dress, but be mindful of the fit when ordering.

The dress is really pretty and seems decently made. My issue that the dress I received was very clearly worn, returned, then forwarded on to me. The second I took it out of the bag, I smelled the awful perfume it was drenched in, then I found the lipstick stain on the glove. Unfortunately I don’t have time to return and get another before my event, but the smell is overwhelming. Hopefully my own perfume can cover it up…

This worked very well for a costume event. Fit was great. I bought a fichu to wear underneath. The ribbon was well made and held its shape. It's a very light color, so it's going to be best for day wear.

The dress was too big for me (my fault, I thought it might run small in the chest - it doesn't) but super adorable! There is elastic along the boobs and shoulders that make it very forgiving in terms of size. It's lightweight without being see-through. You can't go wrong.

This was an excellent dress for my daughter to play Lydia in our community theater production of Pride and Prejudice. The color is a lovely pale pink, and the fabric has textured dots so it doesn't have to be kept perfectly ironed to look appropriate. She purchased and wore a gauze filler in the neckline for her own personal modesty's sake, but the neckline was generally reasonable anyway. We did have to shorten the dress by about 6 inches for her safety (because her character runs up and down stairs and moves quickly on stage), making it just ankle length, and she is 5'3" and wore 1.5-2" heels. (Dresses in the Regency era were not floor-length anyway!) The bodice is lined, and the construction seems quality. The waistline is stretchy, and we had to pin the ribbon belt in place so it wouldn't wrinkle up from being tied too tightly, but this was a comfortable dress that actually survived a delicate machine wash and tumble air dry. Definitely recommend for costuming or for cosplay at Regency events!

Many compliments, nice material for an Amazon purchase. Size runs smaller, recommend sizing up a one or two size depending on the fit you prefer.
