The only thing that cures my dry lips.

I suffer from chronically dry lips. I am looking for *the* product to help with that, and this one is no different in that regard. This Herbivore lip jelly smells and tastes great! It also looks really pretty on, with an ever so light pale pink tint. However, I didn't notice much hydration nor did I notice any plumping effects as advertised. Because of that, it makes it really difficult to justify the cost associated with this lip jelly. It also leaves a slight tackiness to my lips that I am not a fan of. I think if the formula was slightly different, I would reconsider this product. Until them, it is simply not for me.

I love Herbivore products. I love everyhting I have tried from them but I did not like this balm. I did like the strawberry smell. I really like the smell of strwaberry so that was a plus. When I applied it to my lips though it just felt gritty and I never experienced anything like that from a lip product except scrubs. It felt clumpy and it did not last long at all. I just did not like the way it felt on my lips at all. I ended up giving it to my teenage daughter and she did not like it either. I was expecting this to be more "jelly" like since it is called Dream Jelly but this one was a no for me. I would not order again.

Skincare is such a personal thing, and what works for one may be far less impressive for someone else. That said, this lip jelly did wonders for my less-than-hydrated, wind burned lips. The jelly didn't particularly feel as though it absorbed into my skin, but I put it on at night and awakened to lips that were smoother, soothed, and hydrated. Interestingly, the product remained on throughout the night without coming off onto the bed linens--a definite win!For those of us old enough to remember 1970s/1980s strawberry lip balm and scented Strawberry Shortcake dolls, the scent of this product will dunk you into a pool of nostalgia. The flavour is mild and more sweet than having any particular flavour, but the scent is definitely reminiscent of my childhood.I love that it is vegan, plant-based, and cruelty-free, as well as wonderfully effective with only a small amount of product needed to do the job. Recommended; and I will definitely be reordering.

This dream jelly oil lip balm from HERBIVORE is so yummy in flavour and scent. It's non-sticky, has a lot of good ingredients, and comes in a cute pink squeeze tube! :) The word "dream jelly" is very accurate because it's definitely dreamy. The smell and taste are light but so delightful as an experience. If the jelly doesn't come out of the tube, make sure you rub the tube in your hands to soften it.I found that this wasn't sticky nor was it greasy. The oil absorbed quickly into my lips and gave a pretty glossy moisturised look but it was difficult to not lick the flavour off of my mouth. I found that my mouth was softer after using it but the price is rather high in comparison to the size. This balm is a whopping $18 for only 12 grams so I'm hesitant to reorder.If you love berry scents and flavours, this jelly balm is a good option if you're a luxury brand-oriented person. If not, there are good competitors at a more affordable price. :)

HERBIVORE's Dream Jelly Strawberry Lip Balm was a huge disappointment for me. The packaging and tube looked as pictured in the item description. The balm, a pale pink hue, was only noticeable on my lips by the oily shine. Something in the scent was a little off-putting, but there was also a hint of artificial strawberry (like the strawberry powder for milk), which I really like, so I was surprised that the flavor tasted so bad. It was like the product was old or the oils had turned. I couldn't get it wiped off fast enough. To be sure it wasn't just me; I reapplied the balm and gave my hubs a big, closed mouth kiss. He immediately made a face and asked, "What IS that?" He thought the product tasted "old" and also didn't like the thick, oily texture. I applied the balm twice and maybe had it on my lips for 10 minutes total, but that was enough to leave my lips feeling dry. I did not experience any plumping/tingling sensation. I use a lot of lip balms, glosses, masks, plumpers, scrubs, stains, and colors ranging from inexpensive to high-end designer lines, and this is one of the worst I've come across. There may be a chance I received a faulty tube, but I cannot recommend this product. The tube I tested is already in the trash.

I really like Herbivore products, especially their products that contain the retinol alternative Bakuchiol, because I have very sensitive skin and struggle often with retinol and tretinoin. They make vegan, plant based skin and body care that is safe for sensitive skin and is also better for the planet.This type of product, which they call a Lip Jelly, is like the lip butters have come back into favor again. I have been wanting to try the popular the Summer Fridays lip butters, but they are quite pricey and I couldn't really justify the purchase. This option is more affordable and comes from a brand I want to support, and I love it. It smooths on like butter, and smells delicious. It smells like strawberries and cream, or the scent that comes from when you eat a strawberry starburst, but more subtle. To me, it's great. I like the clean ingredients, the price tag, and hydrating properties it has. Overall, this is a great product and I am enjoying it quite a lot.

This is a ok lip balm. But it's nothing special. Regular Chapstick is better and so is most generic ones too. All in all, this is a ok product but for the price it's not worth purchasing it. I'd recommend shopping around for a better product.
