5LTR - JOHNSTONES TRADE ACRYLIC MATT EMULSION BRILLIANT WHITE

bought this to cover various dirty patches in the kitchen and my office where the chair runs against the wall and creates black marks. Down the stairs where the kids make the walls dirty.It is nice and thick and easy to apply without dripping.So far it seems to be more resilient than regular paint and has resisted black marks from my chair.If you want perfectly smooth walls, I don;t think you will achieve that with this paint as it is too thick. But doesn;t bother me. I would rather have them a bit rough if they stay clean.time will tell regarding if it is washable.

Without doubt the worst paint I have ever used. The coverage was terrible but the worst aspect was the smell. Despite being in a very well ventilated room it gave me a headache for a few days. The 3 of us were camping upstairs because we couldn’t bear to be near it for 2 or 3 days afterwards. I bought other paint and finished the job. It was so bad my husband threw it away as he said he would never use it again.

Great thick trade paint. DIY'er turned room from dark blue to white in three coats. More expensive than competitors but better value as don't need so many coats or need to repaint (i.e. less time needed).

Paintex hall, stairs and landing - kids mark on a daily basis - dirt, grime and marks just wipe away

Great wet edge, Great Coverage, Great hard wearing emulsion the nhs use it in hospitals its that good

This is a brilliant paint. Good coverage with 1 coat. I am going to buy another.
