Using cornrow LED bulbs in place of Halogen is a balancing act. While four of the LED bulbs use about half the energy of halogen bulbs, they do not last very long. I've tried a few different brands sold onAmazon, and this comment applies to all G9 base LED bulbs. One seller advertises life of their bulbs as 20,000 hours. That's laughable. so you have to balance the cost of four bulbs vs. the cost of buying and running four halogen bulbs. In just dollar and cents, it makes no sense. but there are other virtues to consider - LED bulbs save energy -a small amount for each household, but for millions of households, a lot of energy. So, you decide. Do good and change expensive bulbs every few months, or use halogen bulbs. BTW - this comment about short life does NOT apply to medium base screw-in LED bulbs. Those last long and save a lot.

We purchased a number of these LED bulbs for some pendant lights in our kitchen. These are the first 100watt replacement LEDs we found to work I these pendant lights. They have performed wonderfully and we have used them with an LED dimmer switch. After a couple of months one of the bulbs started to flicker on full power setting on dimmer. We contacted them via Amazon product feedback, and the company responded the next day, asking for our mailing address. We replied and about 10 days later we had replacements.

The day bright are what it says. I used these for the bathroom and the soft white is what I prefer. Very good quality and everything matched the description.

I installed 6 of these in my kitchen pendants and the lighting improved significantly. My wife is much happier. I prefer these over the previous 100W g9s that used a ton of power and were extremely hot - so much so the fixtures had heat sinks to draw away the heat. No more heat sinks and plently of light. Easy to install - just remove the old g9s and put these in.Updated 8/16/2020 - 2 of the six I purchased have burnt out. We will see how the seller handles warranty/replacement. I will update and let you know.

Brightness is good, but unacceptable failure rate. Most of them will die within a few months.

This LED is the brightest yet. The "dimmable" feature is closer to ON/OFF but that's secondary to me. Just purchased two more and will see haw they do over time. The previous G9 base LED lasted less than 400 hours - Keeping my fingers crossed for this one :)

Overall, good light bulbs. Very bright. I had two issues with them, though. I bought seven boxes (28 bulbs), Of the 28 bulbs, one bulb would not stay on. Second issue: These bulbs are big! One of my fixtures couldn't fit the bulbs into the socket. Other than that, so far so good.

Great lights, very bright. The only problem was the ceramic was thick around the pins and very hard to get the bulbs to fit in the light. I was able to use a diamond file to modify them to go in. Other than that no problems, been using them for several weeks now.
