Stretch Charmeuse Satin Magenta, Fabric by the Yard

I should have known based on the price but I thought it was a deal. The fabric is horrible! I’m not keeping or using it, I’ll be returning this cheap, non stretch, “satin”

Lovely, very thin, lightweight, silky hand, faux silk satin charmeuse. The color is beautiful. The quality is good across the board. Ben Textile is an outstanding manufacturer & all of their fabrics I have purchased & sewn over the years are top quality! I plan to make a set of luxury pjs & robe for winter.

Love it. Nothing wrong with it. Not very stretchy though.

Soft, silky, great width and washable with great sheen, but minimal stretch. I'm making lingerie so I'll be cutting on the bias.

This was royal purple. Not magenta, not the reddish-purple hue in the photos…just straight purple. And there is only the slightest bit of stretch in one direction. Any fabric will give a little on the bias, so I don’t see how that makes this a “stretch” anything. Highly disappointing.

I ordered the light purple and white. Very cute and nice for the price. Im using it for picture backgrounds. 💕

With 2% lycra/spandex I was expecting a bit more stretch to this. It performs like a woven and for that I am dissappointed. The color came exactly as described but the stretch is a problem.Is it worth it? No. Thete was hardly and give in this material.

Very pretty fabric with a little stretch to it! Using this for scrunchies and bows!
