The wick helps a lot in cold weather. Some internet "experts" hahahaha point out that the actual fuel content is the same as the 'all season blend'. Well, they are right. This is optimized for cold weather by virtue of its increased surface area of its internal wick enhancement, NOT AT ALL by changing the fuel blend.

If you want to use your isobutane camp stove in the winter when hiking and camping, this is the gas you need.

Amazon recommended them to me for purchase along with the Napoleon 285 grill, but they do not fit there, I do not know who is more to blame, Amazon or the manufacturer, but I am extremely disappointed because they do not fit. Amazon refuses to refund, so I have to throw it in the trash.

Quality. You get what you pay for! Like comparing car gas. There’s unleaded,premium and race gas. Many backpackers are ok with going to a big box store and paying a minimum price for whatever gas that is cheap. They use more gas and it takes longer to boil water. But they’re happy cause it cost less. Then there are the elite backers who use the best gas even if it must be ordered online. It’s no secret the other gas canisters have issues in cold weather. Primus Winter gas canisters do not have that problem. Primus uses a special blend to take care of that.As a backpacker,I must be able to count on the gas for my stove. I don’t mind paying extra for better quality. Thanx Primus for a great product!

Wir haben verschiedene Wintergase getestet. Allen gemein ist der vergleichsweise sehr hohe Preis. Beim Primus, wie bei den anderen auch, gibt es an der Füllmenge und der Kartusche selbst nichts zu bemängeln. Das Gewinde ist gut gearbeitet. Die Besonderheit beim PrimusWintergas ist, dass in der Kartusche ein Papiervlies enthalten ist. Damit soll das Gas eine größere Oberfläche zum Verdampfen haben und bei Gebrauch dadurch eine konstantere Leistung bringen. Weiterer Vorteil: Primus bietet das Wintergas auch in der 450g - Kartusche an, eine 100g - Kartusche ist dagegen nicht im Sortiment. In unserem Vergleichstest hat das Primus Gas am besten abgeschnitten. Unser Test ist vielleicht etwas ungewöhnlich, lieferte aber interessante Ergebnisse. Au moins avec cette cartouche le chauffage neuf s’allume tout de suite et la flamme ne s’éteint pas à cause du froid. Dommage que ce soit si cher…

Einzige Gas was bei starker Nutzung wie Heizung oder kochen im Winter funktioniert ohne einzufrieren.

Funktioniert wirklich gut, haben es bis minus 7 Grad getestet und problemlos und schnell unser Nudelwasser zum Kochen gebracht. Hier auf Amazon aber je nach Händler viel zu teuer. Wenn man den Vergleich zieht, zahlt man hier teilweise fast so viel oder sogar mehr wie beim Baumarkt für die Füllung einer großen Gasflasche für Grill, etc. Unbedingt über einschlägige Plattformen die Preise vergleichen, dabei kann man viel Geld sparen, oder auch - wenn man es nicht ausreichend macht - deutlich zu viel bezahlen.

Das Gas ist für den Winter einfach klasse. Beim Wintergrillen wurde der Grill mit den normalen Kartuschen nicht richtig heiß. Mit dieser Kartusche läuft er perfekt. Absolute Empfehlung bei kalten Temperaturen.
