They stay frozen for at least 6 hours in an insulated container
Great do it yourself option when you've got a ton of stainless steel vacuum drink containers that already keep liquids cold for a day or two. This is my Eco Vessel Perk mug, the ice pack is the 'right height' for the lid to tighten down. I needed something to guarantee my Mounjaro could make a cross country flight without a hitch and these are perfect. They fit into any 16oz widemouth Thermoflask, Eco Vessel, Hydro Flask with room for a single injector (I will wrap injector in paper-towel and put it in a Ziplock to reduce the chance of freezing). I did a test for 8 hours to see if it was still frozen at room temp; mostly, it was half thawed, air temp was frigid...I'm guessing it can keep it cool for at least 12hr. fyi: you can fit two injectors in there without freeze pak.

Kept my medication pen cold when I traveled to Soth Korea from Philadelphia. I placed It in a stainless steel drink container and packed it in my bag.

Fits well and serves its purpose
TSA took my original product as they'd melted slightly during a layover. Replacements fit well and work fine. Just not great for extra long layovers where you need to pass through security more than once.

did the job
Since it will be used to keep medicine cool, I tested twice, one in a Hyrdo Flask Bottle and second one Yeti bottle. Both bottle were left in basement, with room temperature around 70. checked the ice pack temperature after 24 hours, it was under 40. We took Yeti to China (24 hours+ travel), and one to France (12 hours travel + 12 hours in hotel), both time, the ice pack remain cold to touch. I am sure a lot of us have a lot of those vaccum insulated bottles. So just buying ice pack make logically sense. And Yeti and Hyrdo Flask are probably better than one you buy from ice pack vendor. Once medicine is used, the ice pack can be stored away, and bottle is used during the trip. Two birds in one stone.

Stay cold
These are great! Used them to keep medicine cold on a flight from US to Uganda. Coupled with a Hydroflask and my meds were still cold after 25 hours
