In Buddhism lotus flower symbolizes rising from a dark place into beauty and rebirth. It represents aspiring to express, to live, to share beauty. It's hard not to be drawn to the simple stunning visual beauty of a lotus flower, but also, I think, important to strive towards what it represents. This lotus flower has been etched onto a sterling silver thick, coin like disc. It is haloed in 24k gold which has been applied by the ancient technique of Keum Boo - the 14k solid gold bail compliments this. The silver has been oxidized - disc and chain - and then polished to allow some of the silver to shine through. The chain is an oval dapped cable chain - choose your length in the options.
