I recently purchased this treasure chest and I am so impressed with the detail and craftsmanship, It's a real treasure chest! Even comes with a working padlock to secure your treasures. Initially, my padlock didn't work. I got it open but then the key just spun in the lock. I sent an email to the customer support department and they responded right away! The day after my email, I had the new mini padlock. Now THAT's customer service! Thanks John. The color is what you'd expect from a treasure chest and it's made of real wood with wood stain. Perfect condition. Good hinges. I added pieces of eight and doubloons and glittering jewels to the box and now it's a proper pirate chest.

Very well made chest . Fits into entry table decor and the wood tones are beautiful . Lock is a working lock if needed . Comes with two keys as well . Blackbeard himself would have approved ....arrrr !

Nicely built except for the latch. Doesn't lay flat against the receiving latch. Other that that its a nice chest and great looking

Made of wood and metal this chest is seriously cool. It’s handmade, sturdy, and good size. I love the heavy lock and keys. Good quality for the price. It’d be great for a gift or for yourself. I use it as a treasure chest of knickknacks and memories. Worth it!

I bought this as a treasure box for my son and he absolutely loves it. It looks really cool and feels special, which makes it fun for kids to use. The lock is a little difficult to open and close, so I do have to help him lock it, but that is the only downside. Other than that, it is a really neat treasure box and has been a big hit in our house. I would definitely recommend it for imaginative play or storing special treasures.
