Savitri: A Legend and a Symbol

I have been to Auroville in Tamil Nadu India and studied the writing of the Mother and Sri Aurobino. This is a Masterpiece the Mother says just open it and begin reading anywhere and you will feel uplifted after reading just a short part. I loved reading on the beach in the early morning watching the sun rise over the sae resting against a fishing boat then playing my singing bowl. Both the singing bowl and my much loved oft read copy of Savitri are at present with the police as I was detained for overstaying my visa. The copy I received from this seller is in excellent condition and it is a joy to read this book again. I did download from the Sri Aurobindo website but I like a book to hold. I cannot put into a nutshell why I love it engrossing, enlightening, informative, inspiring, it tells the reader of the cosmic soul the quest that never ends the love of the divine mother so wonderful. My grateful thanks to the seller for this copy and giving me so many memories back. I will be going back to India.

This isn't a review for the works of this amazing man, its a criticism of the size of the print which is completely unreadable to an old codger like myself.I didn't realise that this book has such small print that I cannot see to read it. Such a shame. I am now looking for a large print version.

This epic poem comes in a font small enough to make this a pocket edition. Luckily, the person whom I bought it for has a good eyesight!
