Cost less and less well made - still a very handy tool
These cost less and are less well made than the 3 for $10.99 tongs. The silicone tips are thinner and the metal edges inside concerned me as a possible safety hazard for a person hand washing without caution. However, these are a little easier to grip and hold than the 3 for $10.99 tongs I also bought. I am a fan of 7" tongs for our potluck buffets. Many foods are so much easier and faster to pick up with tongs. The colors are fun, too.

Tongs are great, rusty rings not so!
The metal ring that keeps the tongs closed for storage is made of a cheap / inferior / not stainless steel. These rings leave a rust stain on the tongs any time they get wet Otherwise, I would have given these tongs a higher.

They do what they say they are going to do. They are great when entertaining and you have many platters of finger foods, they are just really lightweight and a bit flimsy, but they will do for light and limited use.
