I really like this bike and so far seems durable, but get a proper saddle!
I ordered this on March 21, 2022 My PCP told me I needed to start exercising in a way that was better for my knees, so cycling it was. But I live out in the county and it is primarily gravel roads, so I ended up deciding to just get a stationary bike first. I'm a large man, 250lbs and 6ft6" tall so it was a lengthy search finding something in my budget that would work for me. My legs were still a little too long for this bike but it was close enough I could still use it without feeling overly cramped. Assembly was simple and it feels very robust, I was actually impressed by the weight and rigidity of the materials. I get zero flex or wobble after properly adjusting the feet heights on my tile floor. I had doubts about the durability of the belt drive system, but so far I haven't had any issues and it's definitely much more quiet than some older chain drive stationary bikes I remember riding in the past. There were a couple things that were a problem though. The bottle holder placement is very awkward while riding. You can't exactly coast on these like a regular bike so grabbing a water bottle while peddling is impossible for me, mostly due to my height. I really wish these had other optional mounting heights and locations. I'll likely drill higher holes and install some rivnuts to move it up. But for now I've just been stopping to take a drink. And the other issue was the seat. I absolutely HATED the seat on this thing. It did not fit my anatomy at all and was way too squishy in all the wrong places. I now have a properly sized Brooks bike saddle installed and it makes a HUGE difference. Soooooo much more comfortable! so much so that I can ride this thing for hours without my butt hurting. And The seat mounting bracket can be removed from the original seat and be transferred over to the new saddle. Was a very easy process. Also, based on the advice from a friend that is an experienced cyclist I determined where to better position the seat for my long legs and increase comfort even further. But to do this I had to modify the mounting bracket. Even after adjusting everything to the maximum position I still couldn't get a proper leg extension. But after the modification it is absolutely fantastic and due to the build quality I don't expect to need a replacement for many years. With the seat so far back I did occasionally rub the riser post with my thigh, but it's nothing painful, was just barely brushing up against it. But after getting some proper cycling bibs it never happens anymore due to the compression at the thing. So if you're slightly too tall for the bike, you can drill a hole in the seat post plate and flip the plate around and then bolt it on to get more length. BUT it's not easily adjustable now, so if you have multiple riders In the house I don't recommend this.

GREAT BIKE AND EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Before my in depth review, I just want to say that I love this bike. It is extremely sturdy, easy to assemble, and comfortable. The ride is very smooth and it is a great workout!!! I love the magnetic resistance. I've been on commerical bikes at gyms and boutique studios and these definitely compare. I ordered this bike and it started making a noise after only a few uses. I called sunny health and fitness and they were extremely helpful. They took the time to help figure out what the issue was and sent me replacement parts that came within a few days. We exchanged several emails and phone calls and they worked with me until the problem was resolved. They told me the bike was damaged in transit and sent me a replacement part right away ( which I read from another review). I had a different sunny model bike before purchasing this one. When I was ready to upgrade I didnt even have to hesitate before ordering from sunny health and fitness again. Their bikes are reliable, sturdy, quiet for the most part (unless theres an issue), and the customer service cannot be beat. They are always available to help and have spare parts for purchase ( or for free if you're still under the warranty). I definitely recommend this bike and especially this company

Nice bike for Peloton Digital, but not quite perfect
With the COVID-19 pandemic, my wife and I were looking to get a spin bike for home. We were originally deciding between this bike and a Schwinn IC4. Unfortunately, the Schwinn was on a 2+ month backorder, so we decided on this one. The good: This bike does seem very high quality. It is very sturdy and the magnetic resistance adjustment is very smooth. The bike is also very quiet (I haven't run into the clicking issue that some others have reported). We have done 30 workouts with the Peloton Digital app so far and we have had a great workout on the bike. Questionable design choices: There are some questionable design decisions that were made with the bike. I am 6'3" and my wife is 5'3", so we need to change all the positions each time we ride. I am not sure why they decided to put the saddle horizontal adjustment and the vertical seat adjustment on the same side. In order to move the seat to the lowest position for my wife, I have to first move the seat back and then forward again once the seat is down. The other questionable placement is the water bottle holder. It isn't easy to get to while sitting on the saddle. Also, I wish there was a way to move the handle bars closer that the closest setting. What's missing: As I am sure you are aware, this bike has no electronics and thus no resistance display. I saw on the Sunny website, they now have a Pro 2 version that has one (but it isn't available on Amazon, and is a bit more expensive). I did notice it is 6.25 turns to go from 0 - 100 resistance on the bike, so each quarter turn is about a 4% increase. Peloton experience: If you are like me, you are interested in getting a Peloton like experience, for a fraction of the price. To do this, you need a Tablet and cadence sensor (you can also pair your heart rate monitor). I wish this model had a built in tablet stand (I was looking at a different model that had one, but it was sold out). I am currently using the Wahoo cadence sensor which has worked very well. Just start pedaling and you should be able to get it synced into your workout from the sensor button. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. A resistance display is the one thing I really wish I could get, but it hasn't been too bad doing math in my head to keep track of the approximated resistance.

Great, SOLID Spinning Bike
I waffled on buying a spinning bike. I have a recumbent bike, but after taking spinning classes awhile ago, you can’t emulate the same if you were riding a 2 wheel bike up a hill outside. Recumbent bikes are great, don’t get me wrong, you simply don’t get the same feeling getting up off the seat like we did as kids riding our bikes up a hill. Now for the bike itself. Very easy to put together. The box is extremely heavy and would suggest 2 people carry it. I did it myself using slides under the box. The packing is excellent and not too many pieces to put together. I did not use the wrenches that came in the box, rather I used my ratchet set and wrenches I had in my toolbox. The directions are very straignt forward and the assembly is easy. Maybe 30 minutes max and I took my time. I read one post stating they had issues tightening the seat. I used a 13mm socket to tighten the seat And it worked like a charm. I rode the bike tonight for the first time. It is extremely solid. I’m not a avid spinner yet, but I loved the classes years ago when I did them live. There is no noise riding this bike and I keep going back to the fact this bike is built to last. Extremely well made and solid. I’m very happy after Day 1. More rides to follow, but I’m very happy with my purchase.

Exactly what I wanted
Really happy with this purchase. The machine is quiet and sturdy. It has a small enough footprint to fit in my living room. I have 7.5 foot ceilings and there is plenty of room above my head. The box arrived with some damage but the bike was packed well with Styrofoam and each component was wrapped in plastic to avoid scuffing. There was no missing parts or damage to the product. It is extremely heavy but was wrapped with plastic strapping to get a grip on it. I was able to drag it from my mail room down the hall and up a small flight of stairs all by myself. Assembly was nerve racking but did not take more than an hour. It is really solid metal and very durable I think this should last a very long time. I installed a bike seat that I had for a beach cruiser bike on the Sunny exercise bike. It is wider, better cushioned and has a springs built into it for less impact. It also has relief for the tail bone area which I need. So all in all this was just a perfect transaction. Shipping was free and fast, very fast. I got the pro model instead of the pro II model so it does not have any electronics. I like the fact that there is no plug, battery, or display which may break over time. The bike stays put when mounting and riding. The pedals are very secure and the straps are adjustable. I am 5'11" and the bike fits my body well. I am currently 250 pounds and feel well supported by the machine. The only flimsy part of this machine is the water bottle holder it is made of plastic and aluminum. I don't really plan on using it and might just throw it away. Good luck finding a better machine for this price lol!

Rock solid
I’ve had this for a month now and although it’s early, I feel good enough about the product to give it a five star review. First thing, it’s very heavy. Be prepared to have someone help you get the box into the house and up or down any stairs. It’s a beast. Which is a good thing. Once it’s set up, it’s rock solid. The set up was fairly straightforward. Upon first use I was thrilled and very happy. Whisper quiet. After two weeks, it developed a noise coming from from the front flywheel area. I contacted Sunny customer service and received a quick response, including a video on how to diagnose the noise. It took me about 20 minutes, and I discovered a screw that had not been properly installed on the belt guard. Once I put everything back together, no more noise. I will update this if necessary, but, for this price, I’m thrilled.

Absolute Beast
I've had this since 2018 and use it a minimum of 4 times a week for 30-45 mins per day. It's a simple matter of rolling it out of the back room where it is stored and into the living room where I can spin in front of the tv. The only thing I've done is replace the seat twice. Apart from that, it's super easy and smooth to adjust the tension on the fly, up or down. Pedals are solid. It is heavy which allows it to anchor solidly while in use. Expensive. Yes. I don't want and would never use any of the added on gadgets, so I don't miss them at all. It's a stationary bike. That's all it is. And it works. And has worked for going on 7 years now.

Think twice about purchasing this bike
When I first received this bike, I was extremely happy-- it was easy to assemble and very sturdy. After a few rides, the bike started to make a loud noise when pedaling with a noticeable change in the cadence. We determined the noise was caused by internal rubbing against the chain cover on the right side and this appears to be due to the entire crankshaft moving to the right side. We can push the crankshaft back into place/even alignment, but within seconds of pedaling again, it always moves to the right and starts rubbing internally against the chain cover. This has already caused marking on the chain cover and we are worried it is going to damage the belt, if it has not already. I submitted an online ticket 11 days ago about this and have not heard back yet, despite reaching our twice more by email and twice on their social media. There phone lines for customer service are not being answered because of working from home because of COVID-19. We will be returning this via amazon very soon if they do not respond soon in an appropriate manner. updated: Sunny customer service finally got back to me after another round of emails to them--11 days after my original contact. They asked me to take the cover off and take pictures to help diagnosis the problem, and are sending me replacement parts. We will have to make the repair ourselves, which I guess is not unexpected for the price.

Excellent produit!

Perfect indoor bike.
Whisper silent. Very smooth belt drive. Impossibly sturdy. Adjustable in every way. It’s massive weight keeps it planted even when cycling with vigor. Emergency break function could be better. Seat height adjuster interferes with seat distance adjuster, makes switching users with differing height requirements tedious. Adding cadence sensor is easy. Speed sensor not so much so. Highly recommended.

Great bike!
My spin class was closed due to Covid so I decided to buy my own bike. After reading tons of reviews I decided to buy this bike. Love it! It is so quiet that my partner can’t even tell I’m riding it, and we live in a small apartment! Also it’s totally solid and sturdy. Excellent value!
