Highly recommended!!!
Great product! Heavy duty but still swings just like a bat. Fun and helpful while getting back into softball.

Extremely Well Built
As soon as I got this I reduced the size to 29”, as this was my primary concern. Due to the adjustments being limited to the links in the chain, I couldn’t get exactly 29”, but it is pretty close. Definitely close enough for our needs!!!Feedback while using the bat is immediate. While we haven’t hit ball yet, there is no doubt this will work as intended. Can’t wait for some reps with it.

Great tool for fixing form issues
This swing trainer is a great way to help batters FEEL problems with their swing form. One of the most common issues I see in the kids I coach is swinging with just the arms and not leading with the hips. This tool really does feel like a regular bat when swung with proper form. But as soon as the form breaks down, the wobble in this device lets the batter know they did something wrong. It still requires a lot of explanation to the batter to help them understand what to fix, but this provides direct feedback as to whether they swung with good form or not.The product seems very well made. I hit some softballs off a tee at full swing speed and see no signs of damage or wear on the padded section. The handle grip could be a bit thicker, but I don't expect a hitter to swing this as much as a real bat, so it's OK. I appreciate the instructions and the videos on the product listing page, as those do a good job of explaining how this thing works and is intended to be used.

An effective hitting drill
This device really helps identify where in the swing you should be making contact. Even without hitting balls, it's useful to just to do some dry swings. I you can shorten, but the maximum length is 32" so in my opinion it should come with an extra chain link or two, I'll probably go to the hardware store, but other than that it's a great product. And if I'm getting really picky, the knob could use a little improvement, I put a knob cuff taper on it, because without that the top edge was a little pointy.

Super high quality
My friend had one of these for his son's baseball team, so I picked one up when I saw it available on Vine. Glad I did. This is as good a quality as anything I've seen anywhere else, and it's very sturdy with great movement. My son and daughter have started using it in their spare time and it's been a great training tool.

Instant Feedback!
This "bat" has been very good for correcting a couple of problems my son occasionally has when hitting -- dropping his hands too soon when hitting lefty, and upper-lower body disconnect from either side of the plate.Coaches and I have told him what was happening, and he has watched videos of himself. He knows what is happening, but this whip bat lets him actually "feel" it almost as it is happening. This has helped him make the appropriate corrections, and I think he is developing a more consistent (and good) swing because of it.There are no instructions for how to adjust the bat to the correct length. We measured it against his regular bat, and made it a bit shorter, so the padded end matches the "sweet spot" area of the bat. The clips hold, but we do check them at the start and end of each session, and usually once or twice during -- they have often loosened enough to need tightening, but they've never opened completely during practice.I appreciate being able to hit real balls with this, too. We haven't had it very long, but it's holding up well.

Wonderful Whip Bat
This has been a fun trainer for my son. It takes a little getting used to but helps to identify some problems with your swing that watching a video doesn't. I like that you can actually hit a ball with it, but we mostly use it for swing practice. It's a little pricey, but I think if you use it, it's still worth the money.
