Lakehouse Farms 100% Organic Korean Chili Pepper Flakes/Powder (Gochugaru) - The only US Grown and US Organic Certified Korean Pepper Flakes (6 Ounce (Coarse))

My second time purchasing! I love to cook with organic ingredients, and it’s hard to find genuine organic Korean red pepper flakes. I’m so happy to come across Lakehouse Farms, and love that they’re organic certified and US based, so the peppers are packed with antioxidants and natural nutrients. The flakes elevates my recipes like kimchi stew, spicy ribs, and bun bo hue! Also the package is quite big so it lasts a while.

Great taste , great flavor and perfect amount of heat

I love how vibrant the RED color is! Purchased this organic one after watching a video on how to make Kimchi Fried Rice. I was skeptical because of the pricey fee but sometimes you pay for good authentic quality. I read about the brand along with the reviews and I’m glad I went with this one. This gives my dish the red pop of color I’ve been looking for with just a slight kick of spicy. Not overpowering. Will purchase again.

It tastes good and pretty spicy. So I did not have to use a lot. I got a 6oz bag that will last me for a while. I only use 1 tablespoon per Mason jar of Kim Chi. I just wish that the price would be 50% less.

Extremely high quality and very good flavor.

Gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes/powder) is an essential ingredient in Korean cooking so I am always in search of high quality gochugaru. However, it is often very difficult, almost impossible to find high quality gochugaru here in the states. When I discovered Lakehouse’s gochugaru, I was ecstatic because it is 100% USDA organic, non-gmo, and does not contain artificial colors & preservatives. The story and vision of Lakehouse Farms also appealed to me. I use this gochugaru to make all my Korean banchans (side dishes), soups, stews, and most importantly, kimchi. I just made a batch of kimchi and it turned out great! The rich taste and vibrant color brought me back to Korea. I will definitely be ordering more.

The overall quality is good. So good but I have to say it's $$$$$$ wish it was cheaper especially this is coming from PA. I would love to buy this if they have some promotion...

Purchased it because it is a product of USA and without additives and preservatives. Clumps a little bit because nothing external added to it which is worth it. Not very spicy. Will buy again.
