These shoes fit really well. I'm a size 10.5 but got a size 11 just in case and I can't feel these are loose.Your toes get to stretch wide and have lots of freedom. These are great for walking and allow extra stability. No chance of you spraining your ankle ever.I remember spraining my ankle many years back when I wore standard walking boots as they weren't wide toed and could not understand how I managed to do it, but after wearing these, I can feel that I can get a better grip more than the boots I had before.It's a little hard to describe accurately but you feel a lot more stability in these. The soles aren't thick so you will feel tiny rocks under your feet, so not good for long walks on rocky park surfaces, but great on tarmac , grass or flat surfaces.The laces came knotted and now have a deep crease in them, hopefully they will self-iron out and straighten up eventually.The upper fabric is breathable. I had these on for over 6 hours and didn't feel any sweat, nor did they feel cold.At first, it takes a little while to get used to them, especially if you are used to wearing trainers with air-pockets in them, as these are totally flat, it feels like bare-foot and you may miss the cushioning, but soon after your feet adapt and feels pretty decent.As for the sole, they are totally flexible, I curled them over and they sprung back in shape.If you're looking for fashionable and trendy, then these may not be for you, but if you want good strong stability with breathability then I can recommend these.Priced at £37.99 at the time of this review, it may be a little pricey, but the quality is on par.If you've managed to make this this far, then thanks for reading and hope this review has been helpful, if so, don't forget to give me a helpful vote, cheers.

Good heavens, these shoes are good. I normally walk around barefoot or in socks, so my feet have spread over the years. I am wearing these shoes around the house and they are excellent.These “Barefoot Shoes” fit really well and are comfortable. I feel “connected” to the floor, with feet feeling firmly planted wherever I put them. They have latex soles which aren’t padded or high, so aside from the extraordinary grip, I also feel “grounded” in the Tai Chi/Martial Arts sense. It’s really nice to have shoes that aren’t raised in the heel and have my feet parallel to the floor, very good if one’s balance isn’t perfect.At first glance these look a little unusual in the shape of the toes, but that’s because they are following the natural shape of feet (see the picture - I’ve turned one foot onto the side slightly so that you can see the sole thickness).They grip just as well on carpet as on wooden floors, and I have tried wetting the latex sole and seeing how slippery it is on a wet laminate floor. It is more slippery as one would expect, but as soon as I put weight on the shoe it seems to grip well. The patterning of the sole bottom seems to help. Just be aware though that a wet latex sole on a glazed tile floor might be unpredictable grip-wise. Of course, that would also be true of any shoe.I want to keep them pristine so I’m using them around my house and on my treadmill. I have found that they are very good for power-walking.These shoes appear to be well made and well designed, and they have quickly become my new favourite. I am giving them a well-deserved 5 stars.

I was a surprised that these shoes arrived in just a plastic bag and not in a box for the £37.99 price, but I am happy that I ordered them. They are very suitable summer shoes particularly for holiday. They are light weight and the light grey fabric colour that I chose is summery yet more practical than a beige or white and will match well with summer clothes. Having wide feet, I have trouble getting shoes to fit so I was very pleased to see that these shoes fit my feet nicely and the sizing is accurate. The sole is springy and a little padded and the top side and around the back of the top edge is very well padded to avoid the shoes slipping around and rubbing. The laces are strong and should not snap easily and the soles have a good grippy surface for stability. I doubt if the soles are padded enough for running but they are good well-made light weight shoes, ideal for hot dry weather.

So the concept is fine but the execution misses the mark for me. At first I was impressed as just walking around my home in the evening it's quite comfortable. The rubber sole is VERY grippy and while the textured pattern for the grip isn't too deep/thick, it has a good amount of grip to the floor based on the material used.Issues came when I wore them out for the day and found it quite painful. I "stomp" when I walk and my heel hits the ground first. The thin design of the shoe meant I was constantly getting impact to my heel as I walked and it was uncomfortable but as I worked towards 10-20k steps I needed breaks where usually I wouldn't. The insole is very thin and soft and I feel a more supportive insert may remedy this a bit.The other issue is the design. In real life the toe shape is a bit odd and has a point where the big toe is. I find it makes the shoe look less fashionable where you can tell its a style of shoe leaning on the wide orthopedic side which isn't as great. A fully round toe area or a conventional tapered toe would have elevated these.The fabrics used look a little cheap on the uppers and don't sit as neatly as I'd have liked, again giving this odd cheap look to them. You can see in the listing the colours are more uniform and close in shade and tone whereas the actual article has lighter blue panelling which gives these a more sporty cheap look.Overall the fabric feels fine and the comfort of the shoe may be easy to augment with different insoles, the shoes have good grip. They feel decent quality but the issues I had with comfort for me and the slightly kid shoe look puts me off and is why I've taken some stars off.
