The effectiveness of this item really shows! This product helped shape my curls how I wanted them too, it gave my hair more volume than it usually does, and it made my hair very soft, more than it usually is. My hair is about shoulder length and a mix between 3C and 4A and this helps my hair a lot. It doesn’t make my scalp dry, or make my head itchy. It last all day! The scent also smells really good, it smells like cake!

It smells beautiful, it was smooth and made my hair feel so soft, honestly it helped with the gel casting, one reason it didn't get 5 stars was because the front peices seemed a little weighed down, i didn't do a hair routine with it alone but it seemed to work well, the volume helped a lot too because my hair usually doesn't curl at roots and kind of looks like irish curls and this looks better, in the second photo you can see what i mean by the weighing down was a little bad but i do have a looser curl pattern on the top of my head so i could just be tweaking, but this smells devine and i cant wait to keep using it

I absolutely love this product! I’m cost conscious lol but I don’t need much to get the prefect curls! Soft and smells fabulous! Easy and holds awesome! No greasy mess soft curly hair! Controls frizz and keeps it soft!

I read many reviews for several products before choosing this one, but, unfortunately, it seems to have no effect on my hair. I have relatively healthy, a little dry, color treated wavy hair with more curl in the back. I chose this product for smoothing, definition of curl and wave, and blowouts. It hasn’t smoothed my hair or defined its style and the style doesn’t last as long as other products I’ve tried. I’ll probably pass it on to family or friends and try something else.

My fine hair has a light natural wave (2A/2B), and I wear it cut in a blunt bob. Since it’s bleached blonde I use products that provide moisture and protect the color. I prefer to air dry and I’ve tried many air dry products at different price points — all with mixed wave enhancement effectiveness and plenty of frizz. Until I tried this product. This cream smells amazing and doesn’t feel heavy. My hair dries frizz-free with a nice wave texture and feels really soft. My new favorite.

I saw this line demo'd on tiktok and thought I'd try it. Why not? I've tried SO MANY products for my curly/wavy, fine-but-thick crazy hair. Most either leave my hair so sticky and greasy I can't stand it, or they do practically nothing for my curls. I was SHOCKED at not only how great their products make my curls look (and last for days) but how my hair still feels clean and soft like I just washed it. The best my curls have ever looked. My routine: a dab of the Cake curl cream on mids and ends for an extra bit of moisture (my hair is color-treated and highlighted); 6 pumps of this scrunched into mids and ends, and a big old handful of the Cake mousse on my roots. I use a LOT on my long hair and it never feels sticky, greasy, heavy, etc. My hair just feels soft and clean. This stuff is magical!!!

LOVE IT. I've never used a leave-in conditioner but this is so good. I have wavy hair and it goes frizzy usually, but with this, it seals in the moisture for days. It's silky and just awesome. Where have you been all my life, is the vibe. It smells so nice too (cake-y). I'm really set on this. I read that our type of hair dries out quickly and seeks out moisture from the air - hence the frizziness. Since using this - no more friz, and it's just silky smooth in the waves, and has like a protectant feeling to it. It's not oily or heavy, etc. Just perfect!

This product works great for both my mom and me. We both have very thick wavy/curly hair hers is about chin length and mine is very long and heavy. I love that it’s not a super heavy/stick product and leaves my hair very soft and not crispy. It’s also quite moisturizing which my very thirsty hair loves. I apply it while my hair is still very damp and I usually put some pure argan oil in first. I only use about and almond size amount (and I have a LOT of hair) and prefer to sprunch it in from the first ends rather that finger comb it through like the instructions say. I usually wash my hair every 4-5 days and it keeps the definition the entire time. Without it my hair usually goes frizzy after the 2nd day. The cream is also has a very light (not perfumery) sweet scented which is perfect for my mom due to a sever scent allergy. She has gone through DOZENS of products and wasted tons of money trying to find a product that doesn’t give her a migraine or hives and actually works well and this curl cream is the one! I also love that this product is Canadian made and cruelty free! Overall I love this product and will definitely be buying again.
