Excellent Power Station – Reliable, Quiet, and Well Built
The DJI Power 1000 V2 has exceeded my expectations. The 1024Wh LFP battery provides plenty of power for both home backup and outdoor use, and the build quality is outstanding—solid, premium, and clearly designed to last. It runs very quietly, which is a huge plus compared to other power stations I’ve used. Charging is fast and efficient, and I really appreciate the clean, well-organized ports that make it easy to power multiple devices at the same time. It handled everything from laptops and cameras to small appliances without any issues. The display is clear and informative, making it easy to monitor usage and remaining battery life. Overall, this is a dependable, high-quality portable power station from a brand I trust. If you’re looking for a powerful, safe, and well-designed solution for travel, emergencies, or off-grid use, the DJI Power 1000 V2 is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

Better than a traditional UPS!
Shown in the photo is a DJI PowerStation working as a UPS to provide protected power to Wi-Fi and PC equipment. I'm using the new DJI product to replace an EcoFlow Delta 2 unit of comparable size (~1024WH), as the DJI product is silent versus the EcoFlow which periodically makes noise when charging. The DJI PowerStation competes against EcoFlow, Jackery, etc. DJI is well-known for drones, cameras and microphones all of which use purpose-built batteries designed to provide the most runtime possible in a cost-effective, small form-factor. This new PowerStation is equally as impressive as the DJI drones! Fit and finish is polished. Specs are better than competitors in the same price range. Outstanding! The new lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery technology is perfect for portable power when at off-grid locations, works in tandem with solar, wind, generator or other time-based power sources, and is a better mouse trap for uninterruptable power supplies (UPS)! Primary difference between 'common' Lithium Polymer (LiPo aka Lithium-Ion) batteries (used in phones, laptops, etc.) and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries (used in this DJI Power Station) is the number of cycles or charge-discharge occurrences supported. The lower cost and more common LiPo batteries are typically good for 300 ~ 500 cycles, while the LiFePO4 batteries are good for >3000+ cycles. If you cycle the battery once per day, LiPo batteries are good for a year or two, whereas the LiFePO4 batteries are good for ~10 years!!! Note -- LiPo batteries in phones laptops and power-banks are infamous for swelling and getting hot - even catching fire or exploding - while the LiFePO4 batteries are considered much safer (albeit heavier and bulkier). I'm looking forward to more of these LiFePO4 products coming to market and driving prices down, as the technology is far better than what is commonly used in most traditional UPS batteries. Over the next few years it's likely that all UPS manufacturers (e.g., APC, CyberPower, etc.) will offer LiFePO4 products. The DJI PowerStation specs state 20ms switch-over from line power to battery when used as a UPS, while the EcoFlow Delta2 specs state 40ms for switch-over. Both products work great as replacements for traditional UPS, but DJI wins as the quietest product, making no discernable noise when charging. As the price continues to come down over time, I'm installing these PowerStations everywhere I previously used a UPS to protect valuable electronic devices and provide protected power during outages. Love it!

Excellent Power Supply for Camping and Power Outages. Portable and very easy to use!
This power unit is a camping enthusiast's dream! It's really useful! Let me share my experience of using it in camping. First, its charging speed is extremely fast. When camping, we often face the situation that we may lack battery level, but with Power 500, this is no longer a problem. Yesterday we were camping in the wild and it was getting dark, but I still wanted a rechargeable light to illuminate and tell stories to the kids. I just plugged the power 500 into a household plug and it was fully charged in less than an hour, which is super fast! So we were able to enjoy our camping night in peace. And it works so quietly without any noise! More importantly, it can fast charges my drone with separately-sold charging cables, allows my to enjoy extended flight time. By the way, the Power 500's lightweight design and convenient handle also allows me to carry it anywhere and use it easily. When I needed to use an electric inflator to inflate the air bed, I directly connected the Power 500 to the inflator and completed the inflating task, and my kids also had a lot of fun. Moreover, its two 100W USB-C interfaces can be connected to computers and mobile phones. I like this design, helps us keep in touch outdoors, which is so convenient! Overall, the performance of the DJI Outdoor Power 500 in camping really impressed me! The fast charging speed, 1000W output, portability and reliability can fully meet my various needs in outdoors activities. I plan to use this as often as I need to. If you are also a camping enthusiast, I highly recommend this product. Have fun!

Better than a generator if you lose power for just 3-4hrs and need something to hold you over
This is a beast. I got this on a great Black Friday sale a year ago. Still chugging along wonderfully. I work from home in an area where power can go out frequently and it can operate my three monitors, laptop, electric powered standing desk, wifi modem, and refrigerator for about 2-3 hours. Now if you only power one of those things at a time, it can keep one of those running for a long time for power to come back. Great for beach trips and camping too where it’s tough to get power. Durable, charged quick, heavy but portable, and not too chunky in size.

Quality from DJI, as usual.
Great power station. It’s smaller than the 1000, not really heavy but portable is pushing it. Great power output. No issues with the power station yet.

I had some issues
I have been using the Power 1000 for a few months. I like the unit size and price. I am charging it through solar and running some counter top appliances with it. I have made coffee, rice, ice, and toast. Here are some issue I ran into: Problem #1, when battery runs to zero it shuts off AC output but does not turn it back on when battery is charged, I need to manually press AC to get power again. This means it is not good as a power backup a device at a remote location as you will need to press AC to get it going again. Problem #2, One time system never recovered from reaching zero charge resulting in a return to DJI. DJI phone support, free return label and fast fix were impressive. They say I have 5 year warranty. I have no complaints with the support. Problem #3, AC output is rated at 2200 Watts, I tried running my air fryer that draws 1550 Watts and the AC output shut off after 18 minutes with 54% battery left. Nothing was broken, pushing AC button to turn on again worked and unit is still working fine. Problem #4, I have been running my counter top ice maker which uses about 300 Watts max but once it is full of ice it does not draw power until it detects more ice is needed. After some time the DJI 1000 shuts down AC output thinking there is nothing plugged in. So I need to manually start AC output again. I often find the DJI 1000 AC power off and all my ice melted. I give it 4 stars because I think the is well made and would work well as a supersized power bank as most would use it. I also had a good support experience.

Cool product with portability, high power, and a fast charging speed
Recently I bought the DJI Power 1000 Portable Power Station. I think it totally exceeded my expectations especially during the road trips. 2200W Output Power: one of the most outstanding features of Power 1000 is the 2200W output. It can handle almost all my devices like coffee machine, kettle, freezer and so on. My wife and I always spend our holidays RVing. In the evening we can use the car refrigerator, camping light, and charge phones as well as OP 3 at the same time, and it still has power left in the morning. Its 1024Wh battery capacity can keep my appliances charged for longer. I can keep refrigerator running for nearly 20 hours, which is totally enough for a camping in the weekend. Recharge quickly and easily: Recharging Power 1000 is very easy. I always charge it with grid power at home when I packed up my bags. It can be fully recharged in just about 1 hour. Quiet: We used to get problems with the noise of other power stations. When other generators power some high-watt appliances, they are very noisy and would disturb our sleep especially when we spend the night in the RV. But this one is much quieter. When it works, I can hardly hear its noise. Although it might not an important feature for all people, I think it would be attractive to all RV and camping enthusiasts. To my surprise, with all these amazing features, it's quite light and portable. Overall, it's a great purchase.

Customer Service is terrible if you happen to get a bad unit.
To support my business I purchased two DJI Powerstation 1000s within a couple of weeks of each other in November of 2024 so I would be able to fly more searches on the road. The first one purchased worked great. Loved it and it is still working great. The second one, not so great. I still don't know what is wrong with it but it is unreliable. I would commit to doing a search knowing I had this battery left to charge the M30T batteries and then in front of the client, the battery would not turn on or would just turn off. I started the process of what I would have hoped would have led to a new battery to replace this bad one or at least a fix. In August of 2025, I first contacted DJI support. I described the problem and they asked me to do a firmware update, which I did. The problem existed. They claimed I was using it incorrectly, yet I was using all of the same charging and handling procedures as the other unit which continued to run great (and still does to this date.) Finally in early September, they sent me a box to ship it back to their repair center in California. They received the unit from me on September 10th. On September 16th, they sent me a note that the unit was found to be fine and they were sending it back. I immediately replied saying it was not fine and they asked me some questions about what was wrong. On OCTOBER 21st they told me that they did more testing and still found nothing wrong. I asked them to send it back to me and they asked for a video if it happened again. On October 22nd, I received confirmation that they were sending it back and I received a tracking number. On October 28th, I received an email from FedEx saying that the expected delivery would be on the 28th (though I received it on the 29th), and I also received an email from DJI saying "Our warehouse has been instructed to expedite the return of your item, and you will receive a tracking number shortly to monitor its progress." It is clear that their repair system is poorly organized. Anyway, I was able to turn the battery on and it seemed to be working properly. I charged it to 100% and brought it with me on November 1st. When I got to my second call of the night, I tried to turn it on.... Yep, it shut down. When I tried to turn it back on, I received 3 short beeps all the same tone. I contacted DJI that evening (actually early, early on 11/2) with videos of the screen when I would try to turn it on. They sent me back a number of things to try including the original, update the firmware. None of these worked. I obviously had a lemon but I was in my busiest month and needed a second unit to charge. Their response.... "Since your device is within warranty, for this issue, please do not worry, we suggest you could send the device in for further inspection." Are you kidding me? Later that same day I received a survey for my first time sending it in. I then did not hear back from DJI so I sent another email on November 5th. On the 6th I received an email from DJI saying that since my repair was finished (what repair?), they were asking me to fill out a survey. On November 10th, they finally sent me a shipping label to send it back which I did later that morning. On November 12th, I received an email saying: "we have noticed that there is no feedback from your end in the past 2 days. Therefore, we have triggered this email to confirm if your requests have been resolved." What?!? On the 13th they emailed and showed me that the unit had not yet been received by DJI from UPS. They showed the UPS tracking that it had made its way to California but was not out for delivery to their warehouse yet. To this date, they still have not confirmed receipt and sent me emails on 11/13 and 11/16 that it was still pending. I asked that this be sent to a manager and inquired about compensation due to the loss of jobs I have incurred. The manager sent me this: "We have reviewed the relevant communication records and noticed that a replacement DJI Power 1000 has already been shipped to you. Unfortunately, there are some unexpected issues with the package at the moment, which we understand must have caused you inconvenience." I have not had any confirmation that the unit arrived at their center and when I check the UPS tracking, it still says that it has not gotten there. I have had no confirmation that a new unit has been shipped to me. Are you kidding me DJI?!?!? I have 6 different case numbers for this one unit. They are confused and cannot understand their own system. I am frustrated beyond belief about their customer service and communication with their customers. And you cannot call anyone for help with the Power 1000. They only allow chats and then they call you if they feel about it.
