Bit the bullet on the Nothing Ear (2024) since they were on £108. The fit is really nice -- the capsule design means they do actually sit in the ear a bit better than more tradition "airpod pro" style (Earfun AP4's). So they feel more nestled in there and less prone to shifting around. Driving them on LHDC v5 since i have that on my Xiaomi. Connection has been rock solid so far - no glitching/drops/downgrades. Which is better than the MTW4's manage even on AptX Adaptive (not lossless). The ANC is on part with MTW4's --- maybe a slight difference --- the Nothing's let a bit more "mid" through maybe which i feel is easier to ignore when listening to music. Certainly better than the Earfun AP4's bit a small amount The sound signature out of the box is pleasing. Did their version of a hearing test and set that to "Rich". Dropped the bass-boost down from 3 to 2 and nudged the treble +1 Essentially very punchy bass but feels very tight. EDM works really well. The Nothing App is nice, follows their aesthetic on mono + red dotted font. Very clean. Usual tweaks. Controls can be customised to a point (you get 3 options per action to pick from) Bass Boost is separate from EQ (kinda like DPP's Immersion) EQ has 2 modes, Simple (a set of 3 sliders for bass/mid/treble) or the full EQ which gives an 8 band parametric-esque EQ with frequency, amount & Q-factor The App allows you to import / export EQ's via a QR code. Usual other stuff like ear detection, codec select, firmware updates, find my buds, low-latency/multipoint selectors etc etc I'd say for £108 these are packing a good punch and can compete well with the usual suspects I'll say one thing for the Nothing ear too. It's the app. It's slick. It feels like someone actually cared about it For me the Denon and Sennheiser apps feel clunky. They lag a bit even on flagship phones but the nothing app feels fluid and really well connected. It flows and doesn't feel like an after thought The gestures like play pause or transparency on the buds play subtle playful tones Feels the same with nothing phones. They really get industrial design in a way that feels super modern and fresh without being intrusive. They're like apple used to be The charging case feels tactile and efficient Really like the whole aesthetic

Pros: App is very well designed and useful. They are stylish and look nice on, charging case is a nice size and again is a stylish design. Sound quality is great for me with options to increase or reduce bass. ANC is very good for this price point, sufficient to drown out background noise. I don’t use them for hours on end so can’t really comment on battery life but it seems fine and the case holds extra battery life. Also has wireless charging which is great! They are very comfortable for moderate use, when worn for over an hour I start to get a little bit of ear fatigue but that’s the same with all in-ear buds. You get three sizes of tips included, medium is best fit for me. They connected easily to my iPhone and AppleTV. You can actually connect to multiple devices at once through the app. Cons: I suppose they are a little pricey for a brand that is not a market leader like Apple or Bose etc. Personalised sound feature is fine for music but sounds bizarre when watching videos (tried two movies), I had to switch it off (which fixed the issue) as it was making a strange interference sound. I’m not keen on the ‘in-ear recognition’ feature as sound stops playing when just ONE earbud is removed, I’d prefer it to be activated when BOTH are removed, that said you can disable this feature in the app so I’ve done that. Also I’m not keen on the tap controls, they are a little temperamental and tricky to get the hang of (they can be amended in the app but not entirely, there are limits).

I've had my OG AirPods Pros for a fair few years now and I'm getting all sorts of problems. Battery charge not holding in one ear and a faint ringing with ANC on being really distracting too. I was a bit hesitant to spend a few hundred on getting a new pair (even if they are fantastic) so opted to try Nothing for the first time. I also decided to go for the black model as I feel like black looks cooler (and maybe helps hide dirt and marks a bit better!). I've seen Nothing for a few years now and quite like the aesthetic, so when Prime Day had this on for around £60, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try them without breaking the bank. Safe to say, I'm happy I took the risk! The packaging is aesthetically pleasing and makes it feel like a premium product. It always feels a bit weird having a tab to tear the packaging open, but as Apple do this, I suppose it's not unusual anymore. Opening the box, everything is laid out clearly. Fortunately, I didn't have to change the silicon ear tips, but it's good that you've got a few sizes to experiment with. The ones already on were comfortable and fit perfectly. The case itself is probably the biggest talking point, in a good way and a bad way. The biggest gripe people have is that the case can get covered in scratches and not look very nice. Although I can definitely see the case getting scratched easily and not looking great, this is definitely something that the AirPods case also suffers from so I feel like it's unfair to mark it against the earphones. You can find third party silicon cases (like you can for AirPods), but neither look particularly great, so I'm happy to keep the case exposed and just deal with it. All in all, I like the case, and I find putting the buds into their respective charging ports really satisfying as they click perfectly in place with magnets! The only gripes I have are that I feel a bit more protective over opening and closing the case and I don't like the fact that the inside of the case has a smooth plastic place that I think will be a fingerprint/smudge magnet. The hinge on the case doesn't feel terrible, but I feel like it's not as sturdy as the AirPods, likely because the lid on the AirPods is much smaller? I don't think it will break, though. On the second point, my ears can get a bit oily, especially in the Summer with sun cream and I think that when I put the ear buds back in to charge, it'll end up making the black plastic inside the case look a bit mucky. Probably not a deal breaker, but something to consider if you have oily hands. Imagine cleaning it is easy though. Comfort-wise, the ear buds feel nice and snug without aching. I like the fact that the right ear bud has a little red dot too, so that it's easier to know which one goes in each ear too. The biggest pro is that the design just looks really cool. I feel like I prefer the angular edges of the buds vs the rounded stems that the AirPods have but that's obviously personal preference. For sound, I'm happy with it for what I paid for them (£60). They have a decent volume, don't distort and they are clear and dynamic enough for me to have no problems whilst I use them on the train or in the office. Audiophiles may differ on opinion, but I'm perfectly happy! Microphones don't sound brilliant, but when I've been on calls, I haven't had complaints from the person on the other end due to wind, or not being able to hear my properly. This was a regular issue with my old AirPods. ANC isn't as good on the Nothings, but that's not a surprise. You can definitely hear much much less and it's made train journeys more peaceful without any annoying buzzes. Transparency mode, however, isn't brilliant and I don't feel like my hearing significantly improves when having it on. Not a deal-breaker though as I rarely use it. I tried to custom ear test too, which felt like it did give me a personalised experience. You also have the option to adjust settings yourself in the Nothing app which is really easy to use. Multipoint, or dual connection, works seamlessly between my iPhone and Steam Deck so really happy with that as these are the two primary devices I'll be using it for. It's really convenient being able to use multipoint instead of having to disconnect/reconnect (especially as someone who only has about a 5 minute window to play on it with two young children!). TLDR; I recommend purchasing these if you want a cost-effective way to use ear buds for multiple devices, but don't want to skip too much in the way of features. Negatives in terms of design are outweighed massively by value.

Right, so I've spent a good bit of time with these Nothing Ear (2024) buds, and honestly, with a bit of attention and personalisation, they're pretty fantastic Before I start, I got these for 93 notes. The Ear (a) are 78. The CMF buds Pro 2 are 55 and the CMF buds are 34.99. Nothing have something for every budget. It just depends on if their style and sound do it for you. If you know they do then every one of these buds are the best in their class. Otherwise, it's harder. For example, the Sony WF-C710n are 99 and might be the better option for you over these. Similarly the WF-C510 are currently First off, let's talk about that case. It's got this groove on it that's just perfect for spinning. Seriously, it's become my go-to fidget spinner. Highly addictive, you've been warned! It's also extremely stylish but I can imagine the plastic wearing down pretty quickly. Now, the sound. This is where they really shine, but with a big asterisk. Out of the box, they're decent, but to truly unlock their potential, you have to mess with the EQ. I spent ages searching for different QR code EQ settings online, and once you find one that clicks, the sound is genuinely fantastic. I tried the Personal Sound feature but hated the results, so I guess it's quite hit and miss. As other reviewed have said, the bass is amazing, and the sound separation is incredible. You'll struggle to find buds that sound this good for twice or even thrice the price. The ANC is good, as is the voice clarity on a phonecall. I find the pinch controls to be absolutely horrible, but that's a me thing I think. Much prefer touch gestures. Style and comfort are also big wins. They look super stylish, and they feel really comfortable in the ear. I think they're pretty standard for stem buds as I haven't had another pair since the Huawei Freebuds 2. However, they're not as secure as buds with wingtips. My gold standard for security and comfort are the Pixel Buds Pro 2 with their twist-to-seal feature – those things are practically glued in and sound great to boot. Their price, though, is more than double these. Speaking of comfort, I had to do a fair bit of experimentation with the ear tips. It's the classic trade-off: smaller tips mean more comfort but poorer sound and security, while larger tips give you better sound and a more secure fit, but they lead to quicker ear fatigue. That's just the nature of the beast with most in-ear buds, as a better seal means more pressure. I use the largest tips for the best sound, but it means I can only wear them for about two hours maximum before my ears need a break. The Pixel Buds Pro 2, on the other hand, I can wear for 8 hours, maybe more – I've literally slept with them in and woken up unsure if they were still there, they're that comfortable. One peculiar thing I've noticed: when I'm wearing them outside with a hood up, any time the fabric of the hood touches the stem of the bud, I can actually hear and almost feel it. It's a really strange sensation, almost like a muffled scraping sound. If you run your finger over the top of them you'll know what I mean. Not a big deal at all really, but worth noting. Overall, despite a few quirks, I'm extremely impressed. They deliver sound quality that punches well above their weight class. For comfort, they're good, but nothing beats the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in that respect. If you're an audiophile on a budget and don't mind a bit of EQ tinkering, then just buy them. You really shouldn't regret it. In all honesty, you could probably buy the Ear (A) or even the CMF buds pro 2 and still have an amazing time!

I bought my Nothing Ear in October 2024. And all seemed well. The sound quality is excellent and I mostly like the design. However I wish the case would accommodate larger eartips. Now in January 2026 the battery life is very poor. The earbuds only charge to 85% and then when in use only last around an hour before chirping to warn the battery is low. This is very poor for earbuds that have been used for only 15 months.

Some of the best earphones I've had. The connectivity to devices is seamless and I would say that's its welm worth the money especially if they are on discount. I would say they're just right for me in terms of weight but that's up to personal preference. I would say thst the weakest part of these earphones is the noise cancelling it doesn't dull everything out if that's what your looking then I wouldn't recommend these. I've not had these long but as of far there are. O issues and that the charging is great and very good id you like bass.

I’m not really sure how to write this review tbh? On the one hand, much of what the Nothing Ear offers is easily worth 5 stars - effortless sound, comfortable fit, clear mic, great app with lots of EQ options, exceptional value for money… the ANC even blocks out the annoying voice on the Waitrose self-service checkouts, which is almost enough to recommend it in its own! However, there are a couple of major flaws that just let the whole experience down… 1. Personalised Sound - one of the unique selling points of the product, and a major reason why I opted for the Nothing Ear over other options (I was totally sold by an article on Tech Radar where the reviewer stated that it’s completely changed how he thinks of the audio experience). It’s so, so close to being a game-changing feature that blows the competition out of the water! I did the sound test almost immediately after unboxing and the results are really impressive, with sound levels perfectly adjusted for my range of hearing and a lot of the things I struggle to hear compensated for. BUT… there’s a constant ‘swiggly’ digital background noise that you just can’t get rid of, and it becomes more distracting the more you listen. I’ve been on the support sites and forums and this seems to be a fairly common issue, but so far the only advice seems to be to turn Personalised Sound off. OK, fine, that works - the other EQ settings don’t have the same issue - but this is a major disappointment considering this was the main reason I bought them. 2. Battery life - the right earbud drains significantly faster than the left one. I appreciate a little variance between the two is always to be expected, as one bud usually contains most of the tech whilst the other is basically just a speaker that does what it’s told. However this is pretty extreme - I frequently see differences like 85%L and 10%R, and today I’ve woken up to 90%L and 0%R (which also indicates that the case isn’t charging them properly). 3. The Bluetooth connection - doesn’t always automatically disconnect from your devices when the earbuds are back in their case and the case is shut. A minor annoyance when you want a break from your earbuds and just want to listen to your device through the speakers for a bit (I can still disconnect manually, so no big deal), but a potentially bigger problem if this is contributing to the battery discrepancy mentioned above (e.g. if you put them in their case before bed, but they stay connected all night without you realising)? 4. Support (or lack thereof) - I’ve raised all of these issues with Nothing support, and haven’t heard a thing back from them (not even an acknowledgment). And judging by the community section of the website and various other forums it looks like no one else has had a response from them either - they’ve pretty much just ghosted everyone who’s tried to contact them. It’s a shame, because part of me really wants to give the Nothing Ear a glowing ‘5 star’ review for all the things it does well (and there are a lot). But I’ve got to be honest, the lack of customer support has really annoyed me, and it’s led me to the reluctant conclusion that Nothing don’t actually know how to fix any of these issues, so they’re just ignoring us and hoping we’ll go away.

Second update: After finally being able to connect with the seller, they were the definition of excellent with their customer service. I reached out to them during the holiday rush and had a replacement unit that seems to be completely new sent to me. The bus are add amazing as the first pair were. This time I will be more mindful of where I keep my favorite earbuds, and fart far away from the washing machine. Thank you Essential Tech and Nothing. In the past two years, I have used or owned just about every single pair of earbuds under $500. I use the nothing year 2024 version every day and sometimes I don’t even think to grab the other ones. Everything comes with some form of trade-off any with the nothing I would say these these are battery life and sound. Both of these trade offs are minimal. The battery life is fine and because of wireless charging they get back to useable levels quickly. In terms of sound I personally rank the Sennheiser Momentum 4 as the buds that have sounded the best to me, an arbitrary “10”. If the M4 are a 10 I’d say the nothing are an 8, unless you just love bass, if you do, these are a 9.5. Pros: Comfort- as comfortable as a stem style earbud I’ve ever used. I wear these in any sweaty environment and they DO NOT Fall out..looking at you Apple and Samsung Pro 3 Connectivity- again another place where these are as good as any bud with multiple devices except the Technics AZ80, which can pair to 3 devices (something I never used once) Controls- this is where I believe the buds start to stand out. You have many options to choose from how you want these to work, almost anyone can find a setup that works. The one thing they don't do is slide for volume control. Call/mic quality- from everyone I’ve talked there is a Night and Day difference in me talking with these buds and anything else, yes even Apple AirPod pros. Apparently they block out most of the background noise as well. This might be the biggest selling point for the buds. It’s Exceptional Durability- I mentioned before that these stay in no matter what sweaty activity I’m doing they also push through no matter what activity I’m doing whether it’s sweat rain splashes of water, falling in water the case has held up to exposure to water everything it’s one of the stronger qualities of the buds, and the case, is the durability. IP54 does don't protect against a washing machine or total submersion. Transparency mode- Again, transparency mode is one of those things that it just does really well very similar to the call quality it’s top of the line in terms of the way the transparency mode operates and functions. It’s one of the best that there are right now. App functionality- I mentioned that the controls are amazing and they are just a part of an amazing app for these buds. You can find any sound profile that you love and as I mentioned in the sound earlier if you love bass bass is a thing that you must have with earbuds. These are the best style earbuds. I’ve ever used it. It’s it’s a level that is disruptive. That’s how there’s controls you can’t even fathom EQ settings. As far as you can imagine it’s really top-notch. I would say that the app is a 10 out of 10 for all of the functionality that you can use for these buds and if you just want to use default stuff it works really well there too the app is another amazing point. Trade offs: Noise cancellation- if the Bose quiet comfort and the Sennheiser and the Sony are tens, then the nothings are probably eight or 8 1/2 the Bose could be by themselves, but the little hissing white noise that’s with them when you not running music bothers me to no end so I can’t rank them a 10. I think these are just a few marks below any of the premium top 2 to 3 times the price of these earbuds noise cancellation performance more than doable. Sound- Well, I said the app gives you great flexibility for sound and even sound quality they don’t stack up to the higher budget earbuds in this regard they notice don’t sound as good or is clear or as crisp as the Sennheiser momentum force not many earbuds. Do they are clearly not there once again. I probably put these in about an eight or 8 1/2 if the Sennheiser are number one. But the sound is good enough for me to pick these up every single time I’m leaving the house and just taking earbuds just in case or when I’m going to the guy I know that these will always be good enough customization next level that you can get really close, especially if you have a phone that supports higher and codec, you’ll notice that increase just a little bit and that makes that little bump each way up ahead of other earbuds like Bose, Samsung, and AirPods and all the other ones in that price range they sound better than jabra which are almost $300. Battery- battery is the spot that the nothings have made the biggest improvement on because previously their batteries were not very good at all and now they’re passable. They’re quite decent and get about six hours out of them using Hi-Rez Kodex and ANC about six hours maybe 5 1/2 just kind of depending on circumstances and everything else but about 5 1/2 six hours that’s about what you get out of most of them the Sony or a 10 in this area these would be, I don’t know previously they were five or four so nice improvement in terms of the battery like I said it being rechargeable via wireless charging is really helpful. It just makes it quick and easy. Throw it on the back of your phone if it supports it in 10 minutes 20 minutes you got enough charge to get going and do whatever you need so it’s not terrible like it was it makes it very doable and passable now. TL;DR These earbuds are a significant improvement over the previous generation for anything in their price range. They are right up there at the top as far as the best or close to the best in this price range I luckily got mine on sale on Amazon. I think they were 115 120 for the amount of money there’s nothing that touches these. I have the momentum 4s, I have the technic AZ80s, I’ve had several AirPod pros, I have the Samsung buds Pro three and the budsPro 2, list the earbuds under $400. I’ve had them or still own them and these earbuds check enough of the boxes that matter to me that I use these consistently more than the other ones , probably one of the biggest good sound good ANC great quality, multipoint connection and durability. These aspects make them, the go anywhere earbud, they consistently deliver what I want from them. I love this purchase and will absolutely recommend these buds to anyone who seeks these qualities from their buds, especially in the stem style.

Los uso en combinación con un galaxy S23 y se nota muy buena calidad de audio. Hay que configurarlo para que funcione con el codec LDAC, lo cual da una calidad musical superior. Evidentemente que escuches la música mejor o peor depende también de la fuente (dispositivo/archivo). Son unos auriculares para disfrutar la música en HQ. Vengo de los Ear 2, que también eran buenos, pero estos son superiores. Creo que posiblemente nos encontremos ante los mejores auriculares de Nothing por lo que he podido investigar y sin haber probado los Ear 3, pero supuestamente estos Ear de 2024 buscan satisfacer más al usuario audiofilo, al que busca la fidelidad de la reproducción, sin poner ni quitar nada a la música. La App ofrece un buen nivel de personalización (incluyendo poder elegir entre 5 niveles de graves y ecualizador avanzado) y es intuitiva. La conexión bluetooth es muy rápida. La caja (al menos con estos negros) marca las huellas fácilmente pero no parece tan frágil como he leído en algunos sitios. Ajustan bien al oído y no son especialmente incómodos. Importante: permiten asistente de voz pero solo con teléfonos Nothing. En conjunto me parecen muy buena opción de compra.

Słuchawki są super, jakość dźwięku i bassu na najwyższym poziomie, ANC działa bardzo dobrze. Słuchawki nie wypadają po dopasowaniu odpowiednich gumek dołączonych do zestawu. Opakowanie ładujące na słuchawki jest dość duże, ale jest płaskie, więc nie przeszkadza aż tak jego wielkość. Planowałem kupić te słuchawki lub najnowsze od Samsunga w wersji PRO i wybrałem te. Cieszę się, że nie popełniłem błędu i nie wydałem więcej pieniędzy, gdzie tutaj za ponad połowę ceny mamy naprawdę dobry produkt.

J’ai eu investi des centaines d’euros dans des intra BT avec entre autres, les Sony WF-1000XM4. Très bon produit mais la batterie des intra a vite perdu en endurance. Il fallait donc changer en tenant en compte que ce type de produits n’est pas pérenne (certainement dû à la miniaturisation). Je me rabas donc sur une gamme moins onéreuse, aux alentours de 100€ la paire. J’avais acheté une paire de soundcore à 30€ et avais été agréablement du niveau de qualité. J’ai donc opté pour un modèle de la marque. Cependant le confort n’était pas au rendez-vous. Je me suis mis en quête de trouver une alternative en faisant attention au confort. Je suis tombé sur cette marque Sino-anglaise qui semble aussi s’inscrire dans une volonté d’offrir un bon rapport qualité/prix. Et c’est bien le cas ! À 75€ en warehouse, ces Nothing ear (pas A ni 3) offrent une très belle prestation. Rien de parfait mais à ce prix on devient un peu plus tolérent. Tout d’abord le design. On aime ou pas mais perso ça m’a fait pensé au graphisme de la gameboy première du nom ou l’univers star wars sans tomber dans l'exagération, j’aime beaucoup. Le son une fois passé sur le codec LHDC est très acceptable voire bluffant pour ce niveau de prix. Il faudra par contre passer par l’égaliseur avancé car les pré-réglages de profils sonores sont quasi inexistants (seulement 3). Il conviendra donc de prendre un peu de temps avec les réglages, essayer la fonction correction des carences auditives (via un test sonore de 5 minures) et les quelques autres fonctions (Anc, etc. ...) pour trouver le réglage qui vous convient. Le rendu est assez équilibré et plutôt bien défini. Venant d’un haut de gamme Sony, je n’ai pas un sentiment de déclassement trop important en basculant sur ce modèle. Si à la limite sur l’Anc, mais les Sony étaient montés en embouts mousse, donc sûrement plus isolant que le silicone. J’ai surtout testé à la maison mais à situation équivalente les Sony étaient plus efficaces sur la suppression des voix. Côté confort, je les porte sans difficulté plusieurs heures de suite. Idem, prendre un peu de temps pour bien choisir sa taille d’embouts. Là aussi l’application propose un test de quelques secondes pour contrôler que les écouteurs et surtout les embouts font bien leur job. Sur ce point, j’ai trouvé des embouts mousse et je vais voir si tant sur le confort et l’isolation ça apporte un plus. Côté ergonomie j’approuve le choix d’un bouton physique pour les commandes. C’est un poil plus tricky que de poser le doigt sur l’écouteur mais ça évite des fausses manipulations quand on ajuste la position de l’écouteur dans l’oreille. J’approuve donc ce choix et le trouve très pertinent. Enfin la box est rechargeable en induction et ça aussi c’est un choix que j’approuve tant je trouve pratique cette technologie. En conclusion, surtout à 75€, je suis plus que ravi de mon choix et mes oreilles les supportent particulièrement bien tant niveau confort que par la qualité du son. Je vais acquérir une housse en silicone car je crains que la boite ne se raye vite, ce serait dommage. Côté autonomie il semblerait qu’on puisse faire mieux. Espérons surtout que les batteries des écouteurs ne s’épuiseront pas trop vite et garderons leur autonomie plus de 18 mois...
