A great laptop at a great price!
I am so happy with this laptop! It replaced my old Dell that was several years old and meant upgrading to Windows 11. So far, so good. Speed is amazing (16g of RAM) and the switch to Windows 11 was painless. The keyboard is sleek and the keys are well-sized. My only complaint is the number keypad is a bit smaller and my fingers have not adapted...that's a me problem. It has great ratings by CNET and other IT pros I know. Oh, it also connected itself to my Bluetooth printer without any help from me. Hooray! I use a wireless mouse because it's better for my hands, but the pad is generously sized and responsive. Battery life is very good screen quality is great, sharp and bright.

Great laptop
I love this laptop. It is fast and has a lot of storage. One con I think of is the mouse pad does get stuck sometimes so it can be annoying when trying to do something. However, I really do love it. I did recently crack my screen and I am waiting to buy a replacement screen to replace it. I will update when I replace on ease of replacement. I did have to turn off the touchscreen capabilities because it was glitching a lot once broken but a simple google search helped me. I mainly use it for school but I also use it for everyday and I havent had any problems with performance.

Love this laptop!
This laptop is great for the value! Functions perfectly for school and work purposes. Also is great for streaming. I don't think this laptop would support a ton of games, but you can definitely still use it for more simplistic gaming. Touch screen is nice too, usually do not see that on laptops with this price range. Battery life is good too. If you need a new laptop for work, school, or just general use then this is a good pick.

It’s good and yes, you can play sims.
Pros: I can play sims, download things at a normal pace, and I can open up a lot of tabs and it’ll work fine. Cons: It does have its moments of buffering slightly but usually it will run smooth and normally. Battery life only lasts up to 5 hours but it’s whatever in my opinion. If you have a game running in the background as you’re surfing the web, it will be slightly slow to load up pages. ———- The speakers are located at the bottom but in my opinion I don’t mind that bc I wear headphones. The volume of the speakers are pretty low compared to other computers though. The keyboard lights do turn off after only a couple seconds of being idle but that’s not much of a problem for me. I didn’t have to deal with S mode, it came perfectly fine. It did take awhile to set up everything bc they’ll be making you install, update, and restart all these ACER stuff that idk about but did anyways. After letting all of my accounts sync and downloading what I needed to do, my computer is still running smoothly. I have no big complaints as a broke student so yeah… this is good. —- UPDATE after 5 months of use: Still runs fine, I still think it’s good. I’ve tried to play BlueStack games on here but it buffs a lot. However, I can still play Roblox on here, along with LoveNikki and other visual novel games. I do recommend that you charge your computer while playing games, it makes it more easier to run for performance. I do wish I had more ram and storage to play more games but hey, college is tough.

Great budget laptop
Great laptop. Lasts up to 4 hours in full use. Been using for more than 1.5 year and have no issues with it.

Bad quality
I have had this laptop for almost a year and it’s just slowly degraded, first the touch screen stopped working in the first 3 months and I had to turn it off, then the laptop itself just isn’t very durable. The worst issue though is, it’s been less than a year i’ve had this and around 8 keys don’t work.

Runs great and perfect for my uses
I have owned my ACER Aspire 5 15 laptop for over a month and love it. No issues at all, it starts up quickly and runs smoothly. Windows 11 arrived with version 23H2 and it promptly updated itself to 24H2 without any drama. Battery life is fine for my uses and it will go 15 hours on a full charge with a balanced power profile. No doubt it would go longer with the maximum ECO settings. Note that if you need more than 2 USB ports this laptop might not be for you. I use a cordless mouse so one port is for the dongle but in my case I never need more than one USB port free for USB sticks or programming cables for other equipment. No regrets with this little ACER and everything runs fine with the I-5 processor and the 16G of memory. The 512G SSD gives me more space than I will ever use with this machine but it's nice to know that it's there. Highly recommended!
