Good Tool
Nice quality, amazing price

Seems okay
Wish the head part was larger to capture more surface area(size of a quarter), needs to be thinker with the metal and seems a little flimsy and not heavily stamped, may come off over time, great price at least

Fast caliper press
When changing brake pads you need to force the piston back into the caliper for installing new pads. Some may get away with a large c-clamp used for such, but this fits in much easier around the wheel area. I leave in the inner pad but remove the old outer pad, use this press (with the screw part pushing on the old pad), then remove the old inner pad and install new ones. By not needing to remove any hoses you shouldn't need to bleed the system (but make sure the master cylinder isn't full so it doesn't overflow as fluid is pushed back into it). Works well and saves you from the rip-off of many shops saying "You need new brakes" every time you have tires checked.

Solidly Built
Update 5/19/2024When I changed the front brake pads on my Mustang I found out they have dual-pistons in the calipers. This tool would not have worked well for that although you could keep switching back & forth between pistons in order to push them back sort-of equally. I ended up using the $19 Ouzorp Brake Caliper Press Tool which is wide enough to push back both pistons at the same time. it worked well for my dual-pistons and would work well for single pistons too. Check out your brake calipers before ordering.Original review:This Jewkot Car Disc Brake Cylinder Adjustment Wrench for $10 feels well built. I'll be putting in new brakes this month and this tool will make my work much easier than my previous efforts of using a clamp and wood blocks. The thread spacing allows for gradual pushing of the piston and an easy grip knob.I'm a DIY brake person (not a mechanic) so this is a 'convenience' tool for me.
