VanHouse Cantilever Parasol with base (x4 pieces) with Waterproof Cover as a package. I recommend doing this package.. less Hassel shopping around!!. Absolutely Brilliant Product! All pieces came together, present and unbroken in x1 delivery in x2 boxes. Huge sturdy set - fit for purpose and value for money so far, as had loads of sunny days since I bought it :-) ***! and didn't take long to put together by myself.. The arm can be manoeuvred at all angles to shade from the sun. I am 5ft 1 ... so it is an art to get the cover on and off, because its tall (like most things in my world ha, ha, :-)) but it doesn't take long to learn to do it - practice makes perfect indeed. Yes, It does sway somewhat in the wind, but I feel is designed to do that, due to the ventilation under umbrella, to stop it blowing inside out and being totally ruined. - but if you are worried, just fold the umbrella down obviously, in high winds - why risk it?!... Would I recommend?.. Absolutely!! Brilliant buy, so far - .. keeps my Prosecco nice and cool :-)x

I was very pleased with the quality and sturdiness of the parasol. It can get very windy where my patio is, so I was relieved when I saw how sturdy the parasol was once it was erected, and fastened to the parasol base. The plastic base is very large, and comes with fixings to securely fasten it to the parasol. It was easy to put together using the instructions provided. We filled the base with water, and despite the weather being extremely windy, the parasol is still secure, and steadfast! The material is thick, and good quality, and the colour is nice. The winding mechanism makes it easy to open the parasol, and it can be tilted if needed. We haven’t had the chance to sit under it yet because the weather has been so poor! All in all, a great performing parasol, which is good value for money.

To a point iam very happy with this banana summer parasol its study enough although some of that comes from purchasing the correct weighted parasol quarter moon bases which you really need to keep your parasol upright safe and less likely to fall and break. The base is more expensive than the parasol although I purchased two pairs of two because of where I have positioned mine I have been since told most people just buy one pair. I also found that the handles rachey gearing feels a bit weak and I personally feel if anything would fail it will be this. Otherwise it a good purchase for the money. Does the job of shading us from the sun. I haven't tried it or had it open whist it been raining but I do believe the material is waterproof. One other thing to mention is as it's such a large parasol it has a large foot print.so you need to take this into consideration if your garden has limited space.Would I buy this again ?? YES. you get what you pay for and the cost was well worth what you get. You can purchase separately fresh material should it become damaged, start lesking, or you just want a change . Either way your options are open . We also purchase a cover to protect it whist not in use. So yet another cost on top .1 tge parasol 2 the weighted bases sold in pairs and 3 A cover It mounted up but one Hope's this will prolong the life and will prevent re purchasing at a later date. ( well until the mrs wants a different coloured one lol)

This parasol covers a large area so has been great in the latest heatwave. I have found some parasols to be quite flimsy, but this one is great and the base is very sturdy and weighty. This ensures a stable base. Easily adjustable for ensuring safety in the sun. The waterproof cover is very useful and protects the parasol well.

Great umbrella, yes it moves in the wind but it’s a cantilever, but unlike some others that we have had it hardly moves at all when there is a slight breeze. it is very sturdy and the base which was included keeps it firmly from toppling. It was easy to assemble and the cover is easy to use.

Looks good but poor in windy conditions, base not secure enough!

I was a little concerned after reading the other reviews, but it’s a great parasol, some of the other review mentioned the parasol sways in the breeze, I personally think this is by design the parasol hangs from the pole so it’s natural for it to sway. I don’t find it uncomfortable at all it’s quite relaxing, and the pole hasn’t moved once with only using 4 slabs as a base. It’s very easy to put up and down, the only negative is that it doesn’t have a strap like a umbrella would to secure the parasol when it is down, I have used a small bungee cord because I do worry that when it’s down a large gust of wind might get under and lift the umbrella, but this isn’t a issue with a bungee cord wrapped around the parasol when down. The price is fantastic I couldn’t find any cheaper anywhere. If you thinking about buying it I would say just get it you won’t regret it! I do think the weights are over priced so I used 4 450mm x450mm slabs and it hasn’t moved once, and cost a fraction of the price about £17! Fantastic parasol, great customer service. Thanks

Easy and straightforward to assemble. Quality very good and ampke coverage from the sun. Looks very stylish!
