Great reel, smooth feeling, good drag settings and overall good choice for the price

This is the best open face reel I have ever used. The drag is nice and audible. The purple looks incredible. Feels extremely durable and I’m surprised it doesn’t cost more.

Super smooth and strong. This reel is so smooth and casts so easily. Great drag and powerful gears. I have 3 of them and they work smoothly and flawlessly every time. I use them for catching bass, steelhead and walleye. You get more reel for your money with this reel.

I've been fishing Drop-shot style since before it was called Drop-shot. We just called it fishin'... I fell in love with the beautiful colors of this rod and it's matching reel. Then I did some research on the Rod selection they offer. I chose the 7'2" Spinning Drop-shot version. My fishing partner (my oldest Grandson, Gabriel) loved the looks of it as well. After using it a few days I noticed I was catching more fish than my Grandson. He is 14, I am 61, his reactions are ten times faster than mine. He usually doubles what I catch. And laughs when i have to re-bait without a fish to show... I returned from a trip to the restroom. And found my Grandson fishing with my new Fishing Pole! When I asked why he was using my pole, "You're catching more fish than me!" was the answer. He proceeded to show me that indeed the rod felt more bites. Good thing he has a Birthday coming up soon... I want my rod back! lol

Bought this reel for one of my kids, and it’s been great! Super smooth action and solid construction. For the price, it’s an excellent value — performs as well as some of my more expensive Shimano and Lew’s reels. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this real, really smooth, can cast super far, for the price you can't get a better option, kastking is by far my go to brand, I paired this reel with the assegai core spinning rod and it is my favorite set up by a mile and I have many more expensive rods and reels that don't perform as well including Duckett and lews.

Excellent gift and beautiful design. Reel is very impressive with the color scheme. Drag system works great and has a very satisfying sound.

Pretty smooth, haven't caught a fish on it yet but I doubt that will change my opinion of it, if it does I'll update my review.
