Handy portable pump
This little pump is a real lifesaver! I’ve used it to drain everything from the fish tank to the garden pond, and it works like a charm every time. The fact that it’s cordless and runs on a Makita battery is brilliant—no more faffing about with extension leads. It’s surprisingly powerful for its size, moving water quickly without making much noise at all. It’s light, easy to carry around, and does exactly what it promises. Whether it’s for small jobs or bigger tasks, this pump makes life so much easier. Definitely worth having in the toolkit!

Check your battery
As detailed in the product description it does not include the battery but it is compatible with certain Makita batteries.Unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my husband's Makita drill battery so we have had to organize and now the battery to use the pump with.Once fitted with the correct battery this pump is easy to use and effective at its job. It's relatively compact for something that does quite a big job.It does seem a little on the expensive side considering you will still need to supply a battery but it is well made and could be used on bigger applications.

Great but make sure you have good batteries that fit this product
Okay ordered this to help drain a small fountain sump, large fish pond that needs repair and finally getting the last few gallons from the bottom of the jacuzzi when cleaning out once a month. Well I used it this weekend on the Jacuzzi and it worked perfectly until my battery (the correct one but older one) gave up the ghost. (nothing to do with the pump it was just an old battery that finally gave up ) So now I have to get another battery before I can tackle any of the other jobs. My plan was to take photos for this review during the pond drainage however we didn't get that far before the battery packed in. So I will update this review once I have the new battery but in the mean time:The pump work very well, the small box that they call the snail box holds the battery for power and the cable that then goes to the small tube like pump. the cable is 16ft long which gives you loads of scope to submerge the pump and have the power on the side away from the water. I attached a garden hose suing the supplied 3/4 adapter it also comes with 1" adapter and 1/2" adapter. Once you connect the hose you can drop the pump into the water with the hose open end pointing where you want the water to go. switch on and hey presto you're pumping water at a huge rate of nots. It says it can pump at 635 galls an hour, well my jacuzzi didn't have anything like that amount of water just a few gallons at the bottom which took less than a minute to drain. I was highly impressed with the pumps capabilities and the simplicity of the system itself. It is not a cheap bit of kit when you take into account the battery needed, but it does work hard for its money. Well worth the price and I would recommend this pump to anyone with drainage tasks. Highly Recommended

Convenient portability
This pump has been extremely useful for various drainage tasks. From emptying fish tanks to clearing out the basement, it handles everything efficiently. I appreciate how quietly it operates, making it less disruptive. The portability and ease of installation are definite highlights, as it integrates seamlessly with my Makita batteries. It's been reliable in different scenarios, proving its versatility. The only downside is ensuring the battery is always charged, but the performance outweighs this minor inconvenience.

Brilliant!
The media could not be loaded. This extendable water pump kit works great and is an excellent sump pump for pools and ponds. This pump is built to its own cable reel so you can pull out as much as you need to reach the bottom of your pond and also has a fine mesh grill to stop debris clogging the motor. This pump is a really cool design and also works great with excellent flow pressure and all the fittings and hose clips required to get up and running in minutes. Battery's are not included and this unit runs on makita 18v battery's and cheaper lithium battery's are available aswell but are not included. This unit is super lightweight and easily transportable so can be used anywhere that's needed. This water pump is excellent value for money and highly recommend. Thankyou so much

No batteries
This water transfer arrived with no batteries which is frustrating for me especially as there are so many out there to choose from and I have been looking for awhile but unsure still which to get. I don't want to buy the wrong battery and charger and then not be able to return it even if it is a Makita battery. The set I have recently seen for 2 Makita batteries and a charger costs £68 which is so much more than the item itself 🤦.I wanted to use it to empty my aquarium and also my ice bath in the garden. When I finally feel comfortable with choosing the correct suitable battery, and get to use this, I will update the review. Next pay check probably considering it is expensive.
