What I liked: Level of detail, number of pieces, level of difficulty (which was challenging, but not too hard). It's super cute! What I didn't like: BYOG (Bring Your Own Glue.) Seriously. I had to use the glue from another kit to complete this. It has no adhesive whatsoever. Nothing is perforated except for the tiny leaves on the vine. I suggest buying some craft tweezers that have a very sharp, bent point (see my photos). They helped a ton! The cavi (rodent) is mine. He doesn't come with the kit. This is where I advise you to have fun and be creative. The controller for the light is hidden inside the cabinet. This is annoying because it requires tweezers or skinny fingers to extract it. Quality of the build could be better. Perforated paper details would be lovely. Small scissors are a must with this kit. Overall, I'm happy.

My mother (who has passed) was an avid sewer. I wanted to do this as a tribute to her & her "Sewing Room". I had SO much fun! The things that are included are just so adorable! I added many of my own personal touches. Little scissors (dozens of them all around the sewing room!) a pin cushion (definitely NOT to scale! LOL), and jars of buttons! Buttons, buttons, everywhere! I changed the fabric to be more meaningful to ME, and just had SO much fun with this kit!!! I did use the lighting system that came with the kit, which I rarely do. I most definitely recommend this kit. Directions were very clear, Parts are sturdy and fit very well together. Very nicely priced. Much nicer quality than many with much higher prices!

Great easy DIY kit

This is for the Pet Shop kit. This is NOT for beginners. This is the seventh of these kits I’ve done and this is the most tedious of all of them. I’m enjoying it but if this has been the first one I did I would have hated it. Unlike other kits it doesn’t snap together and you basically have to glue everything. There’s a ton of paper folding. Graphics are not printed on the wood. Also I wish I had a glue gun and exacto knife. I have those at home but not where I’m assembling this. I suggest getting both.

I was really excited to build this miniature DIY house because the design looked adorable and detailed in the photos. Unfortunately, the quality of the parts was pretty disappointing. Most of the pieces feel very cheap and flimsy. The wood is thin and splinters easily, and some parts didn’t fit together well without extra trimming or glue. A few components even arrived slightly warped or bent, which made assembly more frustrating than fun. The printed details also look lower quality in person than advertised. If you enjoy crafting and don’t mind reinforcing or replacing pieces yourself, you might still make something cute out of it. But if you’re expecting sturdy materials or an easy, relaxing build straight out of the box, this kit may disappoint. Overall, it’s a nice concept, but the low-quality parts really hold it back.

Instructions can be difficult to follow. No glue included in the kit received. Pieces require extensive cutting and some pieces are difficult to fold given how small they are. Would recommend for ages 15 and up.

This came out really well. It is so cute that my girlfriend’s really like it. I did change a few things around to suit my taste, but I still like it.

Definitely fun project to put together. Looking for more ideas.
