Love it
I donโt know the size of my tub pond but wanted to add a waterfall feature in. I used an old pump/filter kit to where the old pump broke and this turned out better than I thought it would. My waterfall looks and works great.

does the job of moving water
The FREESEA Submersible Water Pump is a compact pump coming complete with fittings and vinyl hose. I found this to be very handy in the pool. Submerging this in the water is enough to keep the water moving. I've found when getting the pool ready, often there will be algae or other debris settling on the bottom. This moves the water enough to stir that up. This makes it easier for the filter to catch or if you're adding chemicals but haven't got the pool pump ready, it's enough to circulate the water. I found that the pump needs to be at least halfway submerged to get water to flow. It is adjustable if you want to slow the flow. Not sure I like the method of partially closing the inlet. It would seem to me that this would restrict the flow alright but stress the motor on the pump. The amount of flow is going to depend on the fitting size used. It does come with a flexible vinyl hose. This is fine in most instances but the hose can fold up restricting flow. This is not an automatic sump pump that turns on with a float. It's not a transfer pump. I can see it being good for an aquarium but for draining a pool, it's going to be slow.

Very Powerful!
I needed water movement in the pond outside, because every year I keep replacing these other filters that float they end of getting clogged I think from just elements in the pond. But this right here I think is to powerful to get clogged. This is amazing and wish I had bought this years ago because I can't tell you how many filters I have gone thru. This is 100% as advertised,.

Short Term Item, no warranty support
The 900 GPH worked great, for four months. Then it had a malfunction, shorted out the power strip, bulged out its housing, and is dead. Tried reaching out to the seller, but no response. I would not recommend this unless you need a very temporary pump, and then want to throw it away.

Missing parts
Missing the fittings. Would have gave 5 stars if I didn't have to supply the fittings myself

I used this to divert water that was pooling by my houses foundation and prevent water intrusion indoors
