Great sturdy little shade, it was super easy to install and gives you a lot of shade from the Sun. It didn't seem to add any weight to the car maybe 20 lb if even. I can recommend even for a small car

I've been looking for a vehicle mounted awning for a while, but it turned out to be extremely difficult to find one that specifically states that it's compatible with a roof basket rack. I decided to give this one a shot and even though I couldn't install it as it intended for me to, I was able to use the vertical supports of my rack along with the shorter bars provided with this kit and made it work. I do advise having a friend to help you out though, depending on the height of your vehicle of course. If I had to gripe about one thing, it would be the unsightly brand advertising on the outside of the weatherproof bag. I'm actually going tent camping this weekend, so I will let you know how it held up with an edit to this review. If I don't post one, assume it was all peachy.

So I have been looking for an inexpensive awning for my converted Cargo Conversion Trailer. I think I looked at at least 20 to 30 awnings, but they were either to big, to expensive or just looked cheap. Then i found this one, and then i saw the price. The price is what threw me off at first, then i clicked on it an d saw what looked like an amazing deal. The contents showed the awning, the hardware and the pictures fit exactly what I wanted. I ordered it and was not disappointed, the packaging was clean, all the parts were bagged in plastic, and also bagged in small bag of the material the awning was made of. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to in stall with the provided hardware, also the fact there are more than one way to install the awning was a plus. This was a pleasant surprise for the price. I am actually ordering another one for trailer for the rear entry door.

This is a really nice little awning, and easy to install. I had to use a little different bolts from what came with, only because of the style of my rack, but all the hardware was perfect. No big deal at all.

If you are considering this as a bolt on to your Yakima roof rack - think again. The included instructions state you will need to 'drill into' your rack. Maybe there's a Yakima adapter kit?

We installed two of these on our nuCamp T@G camper, and they work perfectly to provide coverage over the door and window on each side, offering excellent protection from rain and sun. For added privacy, we hang tapestries from the extension rails. Installation was manageable but not exactly straightforward. Since I mounted them at the end of the crossbars, additional mounting brackets were required (I researched mounting options before ordering). I have yet to figure out how they can be adjusted to a shorter length, as they simply roll up for storage—it seems to be either fully open or closed. The support legs move easily and don’t lock in place, so staking or weighing them down is necessary. While they can be opened and closed solo, it’s definitely easier with assistance, reducing the risk of bending poles or damaging the locking pins.

This thing is incredible! Highly recommend this product, super simple to assemble and install, even had to alter the brackets for my custom camper, piece of cake. easy to set up, a bit of a chore to repack alone but even in the wind it holds together better than anything Ive ever used, built or seen.

Ho acquistato questo tendalino per un progetto di camperizzazione auto su una Dacia Duster. Per questo prezzo è un buon prodotto, ma è necessario un bel po' di lavoro manuale per riuscire ad adattare le zanche alle barre portatutto. Abbiamo dovuto tagliare, molare, rifilare e saldare parti delle zanche. Ovviamente un basso prezzo implica qualche effort in più, quindi non mi lamento. Peccato solo per la grossa pubblicità arancione al brand e al suo sito sulla custodia del tendalino, sarebbe stato meglio qualcosa di più discreto.

Does exactly what expected. Easy install and setup.

Overall seems like a great product at the price point my only gripe is the adjustable poles that extend to level and hold the awning up have no way to lock in place when set. They have the appearance of the twist friction joiners but they don’t do anything to hold adjustments putting all the stress of holding the awning up on the mount. Will adjust my review if there is a solution provided by seller.
